So here we are. Over a year later and I'm in my first Championship Match. I reckon that makes sense. I have only won two matches in my career. One against Rayne Young and one against 3P. But you probably already forgot about those chumps.
But the ironic thing about this Championship Match is that no one in the match has the best win/loss record. So this championship is probably a belt that Azurine Vebbins wouldn't be proud to take home to her wife, on Wife Appreciation Day.
Let's talk about Raven Trueblood though. The man who beat the great Finn Whelan. See, that's something we share, Raven. You got put up against someone who MHW hyped up as some glorious wrestler who was successful in the Wrestling world before coming here, only for us to put them in their place in less than a minute.
You defeated Finn Whelan with ease. I defeated Rayne Young with ease. And then they both felt embarrassed, tucked their tales between their legs, and found some other company that they could actually survive in .
MHW is a company that only the best can survive in. So while you and I have horrible win/loss records, we're both still here, Raven. In your case, for now though. But surviving for now nonetheless. So I believe that stands for something.
Emily Falls. You've been around a while. Losing and losing and losing and losing. But your last match on AMMO? You won. Do you think you'll win this one?
I dont think you will. Not in the ring with The Real Deal. I reckon you'll be doing a lot of throwing up late Sunday night, sweetheart.
And Ripley. Another MHW original. The only one in this match to have ever held MHW gold before. You and your girlfriend Chris Mosh. Well, let me tell you, Mr. Mark of Faulure, you're going to be the one failing this Sunday.
You see, I dont give a God damn if you won a poll on that Twitter thing. You ain't winning this match. I'ma kick you, Emily, and Raven's butts and send you all back to your cabin in the woods where you can all throw up together by your woodfire stove.
Ain't no tweet tweets going to stop me from becoming the very first AMMO Television Champion. Ain't no throw up going to stop me either. And damn sure ain't no tattooed vampire freak thinking about retiring, because all his friends are leaving him, is going to stop me from my destiny.
Sunday I become champion.
Because I'm The Real deal...

The fans are surprised as Double Team Ihari come out during the Katrina Mack and Lance Mikes vs. Emily Falls and Robert Mack match. Even the people in the match are very surprised to see this. Double Team Ihari come up to the ring, and hold on to the ropes, motioning for Emily to come. Emily does. They whisper something to her, and she nods and shrugs. The biggest thing that surprises everyone the most was when Emily left the ring and followed Double Team Ihari up the titantron, away from the match. Leaving Robert Mack to lose against his wife and Lance Mikes. What was that about? ************************************************* September 15, 2019 9:00 AM Emily’s House Denver, Colorado
Emily is blow-drying her beautiful brown hair in the bathroom. She has on a black turtleneck and jeans. James comes into the bathroom in a green pajama robe, carrying a purple and white towel. “Oops, sorry, James,” Emily says. “I forgot you were going to take a shower. I’m almost done.” James leaves. Then he turns around. “Why are you dressing up as if it’s winter?” he asks. Emily shrugs. “I’m cold.” She grabs some green hair dye from under the sink and silently reads the ingredients. James puts the towel on the bathtub and leaves. Emily starts putting the green dye in her hair. She follows the directions on the can and soon her hair is green. She puts the can under the sink and gets some face paint to paint her face. Then she goes into the living room, where James is watching TV. “It might not be wise to paint your face in the morning,” James says. “It might melt throughout the day.” “Don’t worry, it was expensive.” Emily says. James turns the TV off. “Expensive? How expensive?” ************************************************* September 15, 2019 1:00 PM On the Road Denver, Colorado
“I can’t wait 6 hours! I’m so excited!” James and Emily are sitting in their truck, and Emily is bouncing up and down in her seat. “You do this every two weeks. Why are you always so excited? It’s just a match!” James asks. Emily shakes her head ‘no.’ “Not JUST a match. Its also an opportunity to win. And then next week will be an opportunity to win a belt!” Emily exclaims. “Imagine that, James! Wouldn’t that be absolutely AWESOME?!! Eeeeeeeee I can’t wait another minute!” James stops at a red light. “Now I’m starting to get worried. You’re making weird sounds again.” he says without turning away from the light. Emily laughs. “I’m always doing that. And I’m still acting completely normal, James.” James shakes his head vigorously. “Nope. Not at all. You are the strangest person I know.” James starts driving again. Emily laughs. “I can’t believe I have to wait SEVEN. WHOLE. DAYS to fight for a belt. Eeeeeee!” Emily starts bouncing in her seat again. James shakes his head and stops again. Emily sighs. “When are we arriving?” James checks his watch. “It’s not gonna take five and a half hours to drive to a place that’s five miles away! We’ll get there soon.” “I don’t think we’re five miles away, James. I TOLD you to use the GPS. You are so bad at directions.” Emily puts her face in her hands and starts shaking. You can see that she doesn’t want James to see her laughing at him. “What are you talking about?” James asks. Emily uncovers her face. Her glittery pink vest makes circles of light go across the window. “We’re in Colorado Springs. Where Ariana just moved.” Emily starts giggling. James groans. “Uhhhhhhhhhhh. Why? Why?” he whines. “Emily, can you please, please drive?” ************************************************* September 15, 2019 6:59 PM Magness Arena Denver, Colorado
Emily gets out of the driver’s seat and wipes some cookie crumbs off of her jeans and the shoulders of her black turtleneck. “James, come on! I wanna see the people before our match!” Emily exclaims, jumping up and down. James steps beside her. “Okay, Okay, here I am.” he says. He is wearing a white t-shirt with spaghetti stains on the front, and jeans. Emily practically flies to the steps of the Magness Arena. Once inside, loud music, talking, and other sounds greet her. She jumps up and down and says, “I love that sound!!!” The door slams shut, and James steps beside Emily. He covers his ears. “Why do you like this sound?” he screams over the loud sounds. “It’s HORRIBLE!” “It is the sound of my dad’s famous show!” Emily answers. “I LOVE it!” James shakes his head. “Wait!” Emily says. “Do you hear that?” You can slightly hear the commentators and ring announcers. Azurine Vebbins’ theme song comes on. Emily jumps up and down. “Eeeee! This must be Azurine Vebbins versus Agustin Gates!” Emily explodes in laughter. James runs to the bathroom, whistling. An African-American woman in a suit with a name tag that says “Elizabeth” on it walks up. “Excuse me, ma’am. We do not allow crazy people with weird face paint in the Magness Arena. Who are you, a Snakebite fan?” she asks. Emily looks up at the six foot tall woman and shakes her head meekly. “No. I’m Emily Falls. I’m here for my match.” she says. For a second, Elizebeth looks at Emily with her eyebrows raised, a bewildered expression on her face. “Uh, you know, me and dad against mom and Lance Mikes? You know?” Emily asked. Elizabeth looks at Emily as if she were an alien that crashed on earth for a moment, then she explodes in cheers, which has everyone looking at them both, including James, who just left the bathroom. “Emily Falls?” Elizabeth screams. “For real? Aaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!! I can’t believe I’m actually talking to EMILY FALLS!! I’m a huge fan!” She jumps and spins and even does a weird dance. “Autograph, please, please?! I mean, can I have your autograph?” Elizabeth hands Emily a picture of her smiling big on a dining room chair. Emily signs it. “What a coincidence!” Elizabeth screams. “I met Lance Mikes about an hour ago! And Agustin Gates! Aaaaaaahhhh! I’m never leaving this job. NEVER!!” Finally, after going on and on about her favorite wrestlers, she left to take care of a fan that didn’t buy any tickets that was trying to get in. “Whoa,” James says. Emily nods proudly. Emily checks her watch. “Whoa!!! My match’s be starting in 5 minutes! Better go get changed! Bye!” ************************************************* September 12, 2019 4:54 PM Ariana’s House Colorado Springs, Colorado
Ariana and Emily are sitting on the brown couch. Ariana has a grey-blue t-shirt and jeans, Emily has an orange “Hakuna Matata” shirt and ripped jean shorts. “You’re actually fighting for a belt?” Ariana asks. “WOW!” “Uh-huh!” Emily nods vigorously. “I’m fighting Dillon Daniels—yes, the jobber—Ripley, and Raven Trueblood.” “You’re fighting a jobber?” Ariana asks, wide-eyed. “For the TITLE? Why?” “Remember?” Emily asks. “He won a match against 3P and Rayne Young. He actually is pretty good at wrestling.” Ariana nods. “He says mean things though.” Emily nods. “I hate when people say mean things. Can’t they laugh at the person instead?” “I can’t believe Ripley’s in a match for the title. He can’t beat one person twice! Especially you!” Ariana says. “And Raven True-you-know-what isn’t a good wrestler either! You have a good chance of winning, Emily!!” They both laugh at the absurdity of Raven Trueblood fighting for the title. Emily finishes laughing by puking. Ariana flares at Emily angrily. “Don’t worry, I’ll clean it up. I have a trick to cleaning puke off of a carpet.” Ariana walks away. “Then do it. Please.” she says. ************************************************* September 19, 2019 11:38 AM
Emily, with brown hair, is standing in the middle of her empty living room. “Those memories are just memories to me. I can’t believe I’ve never done this before. But I’m doing something I should’ve done a long time ago.........”

September 20th, 5:42 P.M.
Inside of a hotel suite Ripley is pacing slightly back and forth with a small glass in his hand filled with a brown liquid and three ice cubes.
Ripley: I just can’t stop thinking about it. How close I was. I eliminated three people, including that delusional Mosh, but just couldn’t make it to the very end.
Ripley stops and takes a sip of his whiskey as his wife Alice, laying on a small couch, nods.
Ripley: Now this...Reaper is holding the Mile High Cup and who even knows what his intentions are in this company. Just shows up and takes the cup.
Alice: Well, there’s nothing that can be done about it now. Besides even if you didn’t walk out with the cup like I know you really wanted to you showed everyone you still have that fighting spirit. You had an impressive showing and sent a clear message that people need to be absolutely ready when stepping in the ring with you. Plus let’s not forget Reaper caught everyone off guard when he was revealed as the last participant right before the match.
Ripley looks down at his drink and nods.
Ripley: That’s true. Eh I’m past the point of sending messages. Everyone knows I’m not going to back down from a fight and that I’ll keep fighting until I can’t. Need to push myself past that and get some solid results again.
Alice: Well at Ammo you have just that opportunity.
Ripley grins as he takes another sip.
Ripley: Oh believe me I know. How great of an opportunity is this? A match to decide the first Television Champion and I’m in it? After the chance to be the first Mile High Cup winner slipped away you better believe I’m not letting the Television Championship do the same. I’m not going to let anything stop me from becoming the first Television Champion.
Alice: I think you have three other people that are thinking the same.
Ripley chuckles.
Ripley: Another good point. Dillon, Emily, and Raven will be a challenge but a challenge I can and will overcome. Raven I have respect for and I kinda like Emily’s fired up attitude but Dillion...I might aim a little higher when hitting my Mark of Failure. It’ll be a shame to mess up a face like his.
Alice: Oh a real shame.
Ripley: Seriously though I’m ready to win this championship. I’ve held gold here but that was nearly a year ago and with Chris Mosh. Of course winning the Television Championship is much more than simply holding gold again it’s about starting off a legacy. I can become the first one to hold that championship and help make it a championship everyone wants to hold. This is a huge honor.
Alice: It definitely is and anyone that knows you knows you respect championships and don’t take them for granted. I think you are going to make a great first Television Champion.
Ripley gives her a smile then checks his watch.
Ripley: Well I think there’s still plenty of time for me to prepare for this match but for now what do you say we get out of here? It is Friday after all and we should have a little fun before Ammo.
Alice: Yes! Finally, I was afraid that we were going to stay here all night.
Ripley: You know I’d never do such a thing to you.
Ripley finishes his drink as Alice gets up and walks past him. Fade to black.
September 21st, 5:37 A.M.
Ripley sits on a park bench in black shorts and a grey shirt with a pair of earbuds in his ears. He leans forward and pulls the earbuds out and part of “Hells Bells” by AC/DC can be heard briefly before he stops the music. He wraps the wires around his phone and slides it into his pocket.
Ripley: I’m still a little disappointed I failed to win the Mile High Cup at Spectacular Two but I’m not going to let it distract from this opportunity to become the very first Television Champion. I’ve mentioned before that I’ve spent years traveling the world fighting and over the years I’ve held championship gold before so I know what it takes to get to the top. I’ve even managed to hold a championship here, once.
He takes a deep breath and lets it out.
Ripley: I don’t simply lust for championships like others do. I have a deep desire and goal to be a champion because that means you are among the very best a company has to offer. It is up to you to carry that championship and set the standard for what it means to be a champion. I know my win loss record isn’t the best but I’m all about pushing myself to be better. At Ammo I’m going to push myself beyond my limits when I step into the ring with three other individuals also looking to become the first Television Champion.
He grins.
Ripley: We have the so called “Real Deal” who seems to be overflowing with confidence. That might be his downfall. His arrogance and disdain for the rest of us in this match is obvious too. I’ve met plenty of people like him and the funny thing is once you hit them in the mouth hard enough they don’t know what to do. After you beat them excuses start flying. Dillion, I will go back to my cabin in the woods and I’ll take anyone who wants to go with me...to celebrate my victory.
We also have Ravin Trueblood involved. Like I’ve said before I have respect for him so I absolutely mean it when I say beating him is just business. He’s been at this a long time too, longer than I have, so I know he’ll take this loss with grace. Maybe he’ll have other opportunities but this one is mine.
And who could forget Emily Falls? She had an...interesting time at Spectacular Two. I do kinda like her. She’s got a ton of energy and I think she’s going to go far in this business but Ammo is going to be a bump in her journey. Honestly, I think she’s the main one I need to be on the lookout for in this match. Full of energy and ready to make a name for herself can be a dangerous combination for the rest of us.
Ripley pulls out his phone and slowly unwraps the earbuds.
Ripley: Spectacular Two left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m looking forward to getting rid of it at Ammo. I will become the Television Champion and I will carry it with pride and honor. This match is huge and I will not go down easy in my quest to become a champion again. I’m looking forward to all the chaos that this match will have. Looking forward to living up to my true potential.
He places the earbuds in his ears then stands up and does a quick stretch before grinning into the camera. He then starts to jog away as the scene fades out.
