“Let’s do it.”
“Are you serious?”
“l’m serious! Let’s do this.”
“... Okay. Let’s do it.”
There was no time to think about what Katrina was going to wear, or how she would do her makeup. Robert was already making his way toward the door as he stopped only briefly to grab his keys and wallet from the table. Katrina’s mind was racing a million miles a second. She and Robert had been together for seven years. At times she wondered if he would ever make and honest woman out of her and yet now, here she was about to walk out of this house as Ms. Katrina Vigil for the last time. When she came back she would be Mrs. Robert Mack. She was nervous. Excited. Terrified. It only took five minutes to drive to the courthouse where Katrina would get married in simple jeans and a fitted tee, with her hair slicked back into a ponytail. But she didn’t care what she was wearing or what her makeup looked like in that moment. The only hung she cared about was her love for Robert and their vows to each other to always be true and faithful. To always love and cherish one another. For better or worse. Richer or poorer. In sickness and in health. Till death do they part...

Denver, Colorado
Katrina Mack stood in Starbucks waiting for her Tall Coconut Milk Caffe Mocha without Whipped Cream. Her cellphone laid between her shoulder and left ear as she was conversing with somebody on the other end.
“Katrina!” The barista calls from the front of the coffee shop.
Katrina walks up and grabs her drink from the young barista who’s name tag reads ‘Jessica’. As she takes the first sip, she immediately spits it out onto the barista.
“I told you coconut milk!! Do you know how many cows are forcefully impregnated and then have their babies kidnapped from them because of the dairy industry?! I’m a vegan!”
“I’m sorry ma’am.”
The barista is panicked at Katrina’s anger.
“I will make you another one right away.”
“You better! Do you know who I am?!”
Katrina’s face is turning red with anger as the barista stares at her in fear, afraid to admit that she has no idea who is standing at the other end of the counter yelling at her.
“And spell my name right this time! It’s a K not a C!”
Katrina throws the hot drink toward the barista.
“Well, what are you waiting for ?!”
He barista ducks just in time as Katrina’s drink hits the wall and hot coffee spatters everywhere.
He crowd around Katrina Mack is staring at her, whispering to each other about the rudeness of this woman. Some do recognize her as Katrina Mack, ex-wife to the owner of Mile High Wrestling, Robert Mack. Katrina knows everybody is looking at her, and she doesn’t mind it at all. As a matter of fact she loves the attention. Good, bad, or otherwise, as long as it the attention us in her. That is one thing that she learned from Robert Mack. Controversy creates cash. That is what he always used to tell her. Even before he owned Mile High Wrestling, he would quote the book title by Eric Bishoff often. And he was right... controversy does create cash. And it was about to be proven true in just a few seconds and Jessica, the barista, walked up to her with her new drink in hand.
“I’m so sorry ma’am. Here is your new drink and your money back for the trouble. It won’t happen again.”
“You’re right... It won’t.”
Katrina stares down at the girl in a threatening manner as she grabs the drink and walks out of the coffee shop. All eyes are in her ad the doors close behind her and as she walks to the door of her 2019 silver Lexus LS she decides to check her Twitter and sees a post by Samantha Hamilton.
As Katrina sees the new picture of Samantha she can’t help but roll her eyes before starting the car and driving off.
On Camera
Katrina is lounging on the couch of her Denver home, legs stretched out and crossed one over the other. Her right elbow is resting in the couch’s arm and she is holding a glass of wine in her hand.
“So...Samantha Hamilton finally sold out.”
A short laugh escapes Katrina’s mouth.
“Who knew that deep down, underneath that tough, masculine exterior a whore lived in there. All it took was a little makeover and you’re ready to show the world who you really are. “
Katrina takes a sip of her wine.
“And you’re not being shy about it either are you? All those half naked pictures that you have been posting on Twitter. And don’t forget that as soon as you had a chance to get me in the ring what match did you suggest? I’m sure you haven’t forgotten, but let me remind everybody else watching. Mile High’s new slut wanted Katrina Mack in a bra and panties match.”
Katrina takes another sip of her wine as she snickers to herself.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if you were planning on throwing that match just to have another excuse to show yourself half naked again.”
Katrina can’t help her look if pure hatred and disgust as she speaks to Samantha through the camera; she quickly sits up from her lounging position, drink still in hand. Her feet are resting on the floor and she is leaning into the camera with her elbows now resting on her knees.
“Let me let you in on a little secret. I’ve always knows you were a little slut. You want to know how?”
The camera zooms in closer to Katrina Mack’s face and we can see that her eyes are filled with malice.
“You slept with my husband. You let him put his mouth on you. You pretended like you didn’t like it but you did. And then you slept with him.”
Katrina takes another sip of wine to finish what was left in the glass, then rises from her sitting position and stands facing directly toward the camera.
“You thought I didn’t know when you confessed to me what went on between you two?”
She snickers in as she remembers Samantha’s confession to her.
“How dumb did you think I was, Sam? Did you think I didn’t know what he came home and his face smelled of your rank? I knew long before your confession, sweetheart! And you have no idea what I wanted to do to you when I found out. I wanted to kill you. Run you over with my car. Or maybe I would have choked you to death and smiled as I looked into your eyes and saw them begging for air. But Robert told me not to. He told me he didn’t care about you. He was using you to further his HCW career. So I pretended I didn’t know. For him.”
There is a momentary twinge of remorse that sweeps over Katrina’s eyes before the malice returns.
“But the whole time I knew. I knew you wanted him. I knew you wanted the crazy, psychopathic, bad boy Snakebite and the competent, sensible Robert Mack all at the same time. You loved the thought of him pulling your hair and tenderly holding you, didn’t you? Is that why you have Joseph and Lio now? Why you’re into polygamy? When it was over between you and Robert you had to settle. So now Joseph is the one who tenderly holds you and Lio is the one who pulls you hair right?”
Katrina snickers.
“Or maybe you’re into polygamy so you can white around on Jospeh without looking like the bad guy. But I wonder how he really feels about you getting your little makeover and posting all over Twitter like you’re on the cover of playboy magazine. Or better yet, I wonder how he really feels knowing that you’re planning on going home with Lio on Sunday night instead of him? You know what, the poor boy is so naive you probably have him thinking it was his idea for you to fool around.”
Katrina walks to the kitchen and pours herself another glass of wine.
“I shed a lof of tears over that pathetic excuse of a man when we were married. But now... I couldn’t care less what he does in his personal time. If you still want him you can even have him. Add him to your growing list of husbands for all I care. I haven’t shed a tear over Robert since we divorced and I never will again.”
She takes a sip of her wine.
“But I should let you in on another little secret... I told Robert to change this match to a street Fight.”
Katrina snickers.
“I’m sure you already know well enough that he would do just about anything for Sports Entertainment Xpress.”
Katrina grins diabolically.
“Why did I want you in a Street Fight? ....Because I want vengeance on you Sam.”
Katrina smiles.
“I am going to make you pay for every tear that you made me cry over Robert Mack. For every time I walked into the Magness Arena and saw your face and remembered what you did and then pretended that I didn’t.”
Katrina sighs. Joy and peace are in her breath now.
“Who knows.... maybe I’ll even kill you. Maybe I will run you over with my car. Better yet, maybe I will get to see the desperation on your face and watch your eyes grow cold and flat as I choke the life out of you after all.
I told you I was crazy.”
