It was announced last week that whoever walked out of Denver as both the Ultimate and Phoenix Champion would defend both titles in two separate Triple Threat Matches at the debut episode of MHW ThrowDown. And then it was announced that the ThrowDown Champion would fight the Hardcore Champion in a Championship Unification Match, retiring the ThrowDown Championship.
This announcement caused fans to discuss their displeasure in finding out the ThrowDown Championship would be disappearing. While focusing mainly on Mile High Spectacular 2, Robert informed us he kept those reactions in the back of his head.
We can now confirm that the MHW ThrowDown Championship will not be going anywhere, and will instead take the MHW Phoenix Championship's spot as the second tier championship. The MHW Phoenix Championship will instead he unified into the MHW Ultimate Championship.
Obviously this will cause major changes the to the match card for MHW ThrowDown. Stay tuned today to find out what changes will be made, and get more details on everything else concerning the championships on today's podcast episode of Mile High UnCut.
