Standing outside of the Bunkhouse Saloon in Las Vegas with his back to it is Ripley, the Television Championship is around his waist. His arms are crossed over his chest and he has a serious look on his face.
Ripley: Last night in this very building I became MHWs first Ammo Television Champion but it came with some controversy and even claims of a conspiracy. Not exactly how I imagined or wanted to win this championship. So I want to take a few moments to address the events of last night.
He licks his lips.
Ripley: First of all I went back and watched the end of the match and I have to say it did look like Emily Falls could’ve broken up my pin and kept the match going if her foot hadn’t somehow got caught on the apron. I know her and her fans must be disappointed and even angry she didn’t win because of that but these things happen. That being said I find these rumors of conspiracy ridiculous but since I’m a man of honor and want to help set things right I have an offer to make. If the management of MHW sees fit I am willing to defend my Television Champion against Emily Falls in a one on one match.
He looks a little uncomfortable as he clears his throat.
Ripley: Then there’s what happened with Ginger Knox and Sampson. Honestly I’m just as confused as everyone with her sudden fascination with me. As for Sampson?
He unhooks the Television Championship and holds it up to the camera.
Ripley: Sampson seems to be wanting a shot at this? Well, I’m not hard to find and I don’t get intimidated easily so that’s another match I don’t have a problem with if the higher ups see happening. No need for him to go playing with the lights to make his point. I look forward to defending my championship when the time comes. Well ladies and gentlemen that’s all I have to say on these matters at this time.
He tosses the Television Championship over his shoulder and stares into the camera as the scene fades out.
