September 24, 2019 10:00 AM Emily’s House Denver, Colorado
Ripley was probably really excited when he won the Ammo title. I mean, someone like Chris Mosh, Ripley, Emily Falls, and Raven Trueblood probably never imagined they would win a title. You know what else is exciting? Getting to be in a title match one-on-one with the champion. Not as exciting as being the champion, but still exciting. You can tell this is how Emily Falls feels. When you’re jumping up and down, screaming happy things, almost knocking everything over, that is the feeling called excited. “Yaaaayyyyyyy!! I’m gonna be in a title match, I’m gonna be in a title match!!!!! Yay!!” she screams. Then she starts jumping on the bed. After a few minutes she looks at her watch, which fell on the floor, puts it on her wrist, and gasps. “James,” she yells. “We were supposed to be at Mom’s house to eat lunch at 10:25. She wanted us to help make it, remember?” James yells something back from the next room. Emily looks at her watch again. “It’s 10:20,” she yells. “We should get going.” Silence for a minute. Then James comes running into the room with a pair of his black sneakers and a pair of Emily’s orange sandals. “Here,” he says, giving Emily the sandals, then putting on the sneakers. “Without socks?” Emily asks. James quickly goes to the dresser and pulls out a pair of socks. Emily laughs. “You know, my Mom isn’t going to murder us for showing up late.” she says. ************************************************* September 24, 2019 10:30 AM On the Road Denver, Colorado
Emily, dressed in a blue t-shirt and jean shorts, is sitting in the passenger seat of her blue truck. James, who is wearing a black muscle shirt and green pajama pants, is driving. Emily is laughing her head off at James’ outfit. James’ face is getting very red. “I told you,” James screams. “I didn’t have daytime clothes! You don’t have to make it seem like a big deal!!” “Why?” Emily asks. “It is a big deal!” Emily laughs some more. James opens his mouth to say something, but Emily interrupts him. “I’m not laughing at you,” she starts. “No, you’re laughing at me, okay. There’s nothing else you can be laughing about.” Emily shakes her head. “No! I’m really not laughing at you,” she says. “I’m laughing because I’m so happy that I get a title match against Ripley! Yaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!” James covers his ears. “You’re making too big a deal about it. Let’s just drive.” Emily crosses her arms in front of her and looks out the window. “We passed Mom’s house. We’re in Colorado Springs again.” ************************************************* September 26, 2019 1:09 PM Confluence Park Denver, Colorado
Emily is dressed in the same clothes as she had been dressed in two days earlier, but James definitely would not pick the clothes he had worn that day twice. So he’s wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. They’re both walking on a kayak trail, Ariana is following close behind. She had on a pink t-shirt and overalls on. Emily turns back so that she’s next to Ariana. “Guess what? I’m getting another title match against Ripley!” Emily says. They both start laughing and screaming and jumping and crying all at the same time. A big woman with orange-brown hair and brown eyes, in a flowery yellow dress and a tall man with black hair, a thin black mustache, green eyes, and a black and white suit turn and stare at Emily and Ariana. James turns around and says, “SHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Emily and Ariana stop shouting. “Sorry,” Ariana says. They keep walking. “How did you get it?” Ariana whispers to Emily. “I saw how you almost won. Is that why? Robert Mack thought you would’ve won if that wouldn’t have happened?” “Actually,” Emily says. “Ripley suggested it. Daddy said it was okay if we had a match.” They start cheering again. But quickly stopped as James turned around. “Did you guys know that this was a public place?” he asks angrily. Emily and Ariana nod. “Wow! Emily, I’m surprised!” Ariana continues. “Aren’t you excited?” Emily nods. “I’m so excited that we had to buy a new table lamp!” Ariana laughs. Emily smiles. “I think I can win. Ripley can’t beat the same person two times in a row! Especially not someone like me!” “What do you mean?” Ariana asks. “Well, I know I can win if I try.” Emily says. Ariana smiles. “I know you can, too!” she says. “Hey, Emily, I have a question.” Ariana asks. Emily looks at Ariana. “What did DTI tell you at Mile High Spectacular?” Ariana asks. Emily stares at Ariana blankly, with a weird grin on her face.

September 27th, 7:38 P.M.
A large bonfire burns brightly near the shore of a small lake as the sun continues to dip below the horizon. Scattered around the fire are several people with either a red solo cup, glass bottles or aluminum cans in their hands talking to each other and drinking. Away from the fire, in a clearing, is the cabin that belongs to Ripley and Alice. In the clearing between the fire and cabin there are more groups of people all with drinks in hand looking to have a good time. Suddenly there is a loud sharp whistle that cuts through all the conversations and the crowd looks towards the cabin where it came from. Ripley and Alice are seen standing on the back porch area of their cabin looking at the crowd of 30 or so people. Ripley has a red solo cup in one hand and the MHW Television Championship around his waist.
Ripley: Friends, family and people who managed to crash this party for free booze and food, welcome! As you know I have the honor of being the first MHW Ammo Television Champion and while next week I have my first title defense tonight we celebrate! Eat and drink up and enjoy yourselves but don’t break anything.
The crowd laughs and cheers then goes back to partying. Ripley and Alice walk out among the groups of people with Ripley occasionally fist bumping or high fiving someone.
Alice: You know I’m still a little surprised at all of this.
Ripley: Why’s that?
Alice: You’ve never really been much of a people person.
Ripley: Yeah I guess I haven’t but this is different. It’s been so long since I’ve been a champion and on top of that I’m the first to hold this championship so I think I can be a people person for at least a night. It’s very exciting.
Alice: You’re not the only one that seems to be bursting with excitement.
Ripley: Hmm? Ah, you must mean Miss Emily.
Alice: That’d be who I’m talking about. You’re really going to defend your championship against her?
They stop walking and Ripley looks at Alice.
Ripley: Don’t tell me you agree with everyone that says I shouldn’t.
Alice: Well I mean she had her shot and lost. You came out the winner and that’s all there is to it. I know there’s the whole thing with her foot getting caught but too bad that’s just bad luck.
Ripley: True. Part of it though is I made history becoming the first Ammo Television Champion but already some people are trying to taint my win using her foot getting caught as a way to question my win. This will be a chance to show that I'm the rightful champion. Of course it’s not all about shutting up the haters. It’s too easy to sit behind a screen and tweet off insults or conspiracy theories but I remember what it was like just starting out and getting a huge opportunity only for it to slip away. I’ve been there and know it’s one of the worst things. So I thought it was only right to offer her a shot at redemption.
Alice: Eh, I still think you’re being too nice.
Ripley: Maybe I am. I just hope she really is ready for this match because she’ll be getting my undivided attention and I’ll be looking to keep this championship so this is going to be a tough fight. For now though, let's enjoy this party.
Alice: All right. I think I saw Ginger Knox lurking around somewhere though.
Ripley chuckles and shakes his head as the scene fades out.

September 30, 2019 1:39 PM Emily Falls’ House Denver, Colorado
Emily is sitting on a bench right outside of her small, red brick house. She has a paper bag and a cup filled with water next to her. She pulls a PB&J sandwich and an apple out of the paper bag, flattens the bag down, and sets the sandwich on top of it. Then she takes a bite of the red apple and puts it next to the sandwich. Emily finishes her food and drink, then gets up, smiling. But today, it isn’t the usual smile. It’s an evil smirk. “Finally,” she starts. “Finally, I get to share my new......personality with everyone. You know, I’m so surprised that Ripley wasn’t surprised enough to mention that change of mine in his promo.” Emily smirks again. “Don’t worry, Ripley. I’m not jealous. I’m happy. I’m happy that I’ve scared someone, finally. I’m glad that Ripley was afraid of me.” Emily picks up the brown paper bag and squeezes it into a ball. “Well, that’s because I will not be ruined by all my losses. For one time, I’ve listened to someone who told me to stop being the nice energetic girl I was. For one time, I believed that what they said was right. And I’m glad I did. That’s right. That’s what Double Team Ihari whispered to me.” Emily lets the paper bag fall to the floor. “My point, Ripley, is that this change I’ve made, is helping me. Staying happy, thinking to yourself something that isn’t true, ‘My win-loss record doesn’t matter,’ was hurting me. “But I’m not going to pretend any longer. I’ll tell everybody that I’m going to fight as hard as I can to win the gold that I have deserved for so long.” Emily smirks. “Is that why you’re afraid of me, Ripley? Does my sudden boost of confidence scare you? Does the fact that a good guy could never beat a bad guy disturb you? Should’ve stayed the way you were when you turned on Chris Mosh, huh? Because now, you are just a boring person that hardly beats anybody. The only reason you beat me a few weeks ago was because my foot got caught in the ropes. And the only reason you beat me any other time was because I was a loser. But now, I am a new Emily Falls. And if I want the MHW Television Championship, then I’m going to get it, no matter what.”

September 29th, 11:32 P.M.
Alice and Ripley are sitting next to each other on a couch in their cabin watching the final events from Throwdown. As the show comes to an end Ripley gets up and walks over to a wet bar on the other side of the room. He reaches for a rocks glass and places in by the Television Championship.
Ripley: Turn that off.
Alice grabs the remote and turns off the TV as Ripley drops some ice in the glass and then reaches for a small decanter filled with whiskey. He proceeds to pour some whiskey over the ice.
Alice: So...that just happened.
Ripley: It would appear so.
Alice:What do you think this means for your match at Ammo?
Ripley turns around and motions to the decanter then Alice, offering a drink but she shakes her head. Ripley takes a sip from his glass and lets out a sigh.
Ripley: Don’t know but it can’t be anything good.
Alice: Definitely can’t be good. Boy, Emily sure did look proud of herself out there.
Ripley: She did. Honestly that was a pretty shocking transformation. Looks like that excited newcomer attitude is long gone.
Alice: Think this...Coven is going to be an issue for your match?
Ripley: No idea but they are definitely going to be at the back of my mind. Damn this changes the whole thing.
He takes a bigger sip of his drink.
Ripley: Damn it! When I made that offer to defend my championship against Emily I did it because it felt like the right thing to do. Maybe she faked getting caught on the edge. Maybe her and her friends saw I was going to win and in a few split seconds came up with a plan to fake it so she could get me one on one and try and take the championship from me directly.
Alice: Okay I think you need to really slow it down with that drink because that’s just borderline paranoia.
Ripley lets out a sigh.
Ripley: Yeah, you’re right. Now that I said that out loud that sounds ridiculous. I just need to calm down and work on a plan for Ammo given this recent turn of events. Maybe this group Coven won’t get involved. Maybe neither will DTI. I don’t know but all I do know is I’m going to have to be extra careful at Ammo. Never would’ve expected Emily to do something like this.
Alice: I know. I believe in you though.
Ripley continues siping his whiskey and nods.
October 4th, 2:34 P.M.
Ripley stands in an undisclosed location, it looks like an abandoned warehouse, in street clothes and with the Television Championship over his right shoulder.
Ripley: Tomorrow I face someone that claims I’m scared of them. Tomorrow I face Emily Falls. This claim is about as ridiculous as the one that Ginger Knox is my mistress. Despite all these false claims I’m not mad, no instead I’m disappointed. Disappointed that my opponent, Emily, someone I saw as a rising star and full of hope and excitement decided to instead of learning from her failures chose to take an easy way out.
He looks down then back up into the camera.
Ripley: I’ve been there. I’ve been knocked down so many times I wondered if this was all worth it but I couldn’t give up. Wouldn’t give up. I wanted to prove to everyone that I’m the best and I didn’t let setbacks stop me. I pushed forward and now I’m the first Ammo Television Champion. Why? Because I didn’t give up. I didn’t take an easy way out.
He grabs the Television Championship and holds it towards the camera.
Ripley: Emily Falls thinks she can take this from me? She can try. I know she thinks she had scared me but I wonder if she’ll think that once we’re standing across the ring from each other and she sees the passion in my eyes. Once that bell rings all hell is going to break loose.
He tosses the Television Championship over his right shoulder.
Ripley: Emily seems to think she knows me but she doesn’t. I may be a good guy but I crave violence. I crave pain. Now that she has made her real self known I’m going to do whatever it takes to keep my championship. In reality she should be the one scared because before I won this championship I put my former friend and tag team partner through a table like it was nothing.
He takes a deep breath then lets it out.
Ripley: At Ammo I’m walking in the Television Champion and I’m walking out the same way. I don’t care how many friends she has now or what her new personality is. I’m doing what I always do, show up and fight like my life depends on it. Maybe after this match she’ll see the error of her ways. I doubt it though. What I do hope though is that she survives.
He pats the Television Championship and walks off camera. End.
