Alastair had returned to the base after a meeting at the Marine Corps headquarters at Quantico about a mission for his unit and heard the voice of the former C.O. of his unit call to him after he drove past the gate. He stepped out of the car after parking his jeep and scowled the Colonel before removing his hat and saluting one of the few people he trusted.
“It has been a long day Sir and I really need to speak with the unit about a matter that has come to my attention.”
“I know about the mission that you were offered as I was informed before you went to Quantico but it is the decision of your unit if you take on the mission. I am actually here to talk to you on another matter Colonel.”
Alastair arched his scruffy eyebrow but he had a feeling he knew what Colonel Samuels wanted him to say it for himself.
“JAG wants you to come in to discuss the matter at hand early next week. It seems that he is trying to twist things into his favor to get himself back into a prominent position.”
“They should know better about what he has to say about everything especially with the information that was given to them about his actions while leading the base.”
“You have to remember that he has some very powerful friends that he is using to his advantage in clearing his name. His friends are higher in position than those contacts that I have in the military and political circles.”
A bell went off in Alastair’s head while he was listening to Colonel Samuels and his scowl changed to a cold smile. The other man noticed the smile and looked back at Alastair with fright in his eyes.
“Should I be worried about what is going on in that mind of yours?”
“It all depends on if you will trust what is coming out of my mind? If you do, allow me to use a possible connection that would throw a curveball into everything that he has planned. If everything goes according to what I have planned, his attempt to ruin my military commission will come to an end and he may have to think about his life.”
“I rest my case about you Darius. No matter how dangerous your mind is, I still respect you. I will await your report on the matter and will inform JAG that you will join them at the date and time requested.”
Alastair nodded and gave a salute to Samuels before he went to another part of the base to deal with some of the Army units on the base.
“Chris Mosh walked into Ammo with a conviction of the confidence in himself against a rookie both in wrestling and in Mile High Wrestling. He walked out of the show and our match with a pain to his pride and burns to his body after he received an engineered explosive to his face.”
The cold smile remained on Alastair’s face as he folds his arms across his arms before leaning against the back of his jeep.
“Now people are placed on notice about their lack of discipline whenever they are scheduled for a match against this soldier while I am Mile High Wrestling as Mosh has found out during Ammo. It will make each and every enemy of the state realize that their destruction will be aided by the militaristic mind that I bring to wrestling.”
He remained in position and nodded while he was saluted by a few enlisted personnel that had gone passed him.
“I am scheduled to face a very eccentric and larger Samson. We know very little about this man and we are expected to bow to his will whenever we step into the ring with him in order for him to walk out with a win. That is something that I will not allow to happen as my discipline and defiance against the conformation of society will trigger during the match.”
A growl is heard from the Marine as he continues to prepare himself mentally for Ammo.
“Samson and his eccentric nature can lead to his downfall as the lack of discipline will weaken him against the physical and mental strength that the Ring Worn Soldier is known to bring to his life.”
Alastair gives a sarcastic salute before he heads to the barracks to meet with his unit.
