Immediately after the Caged Turmoil Match
New Orleans, Louisiana
Exact Location: Somewhere Within The Smoothie King Center
Status: Off-Camera ”What the fuck are you doing?!” ”Soon. All will be revealed in due time.” A furious growl elicited from Sam’s lips as she was given a cryptic response. What no one had seen was right when the lights went out, Gabriel wasted little time in hoisting The Titaness over his shoulders, and was now carrying her around via a fireman’s hold.
Sam was, naturally, struggling. From kicking the side of his head to punching his shoulder as hard as she could.
But Gabriel was taking his own precautions. Partly to help ensure she didn’t fall off, and also as a silent threat, he had kept a tight grip on the wrist where he’d already broken her fingers in front of … well, everyone, frankly. Audience, the members of both parties that had just finished fighting, and anyone watching from their homes, businesses, or just about anywhere.
Regardless, any and everyone watching had seen that Gabriel Ohio had zero qualms when it came to violence.
And now … he was finally doing some of the many things that should have been acted upon long ago. About a year? Maybe more?
Ah well. The time that had passed didn’t matter. What did is he intended to make up for the lost time.
Sam’s fists tightly clenched, gripping onto both the fabric of Ohio’s top plus a few stray bandages that were nearby.
”That’s right, Samantha. Save your strength. I don’t want you passing out from our session too soon.” ”Fuck you,” Sam shot back, scoffing angrily as she resigned herself to staying stationary … even if only for now.
Finally, a door was kicked open, and the two were greeted with immense warmth that quickly threatened to surpass the comfortable levels of heat. A quick glance around revealed this was, indeed, the boiler room of the stadium. Sam couldn’t help but chuckle and shake her head.
”Cliche much? But hey, I guess this is more spacious than the next commonly used area; a closet.” ”Exactly why I chose it.” While still keeping Sam over his shoulders, Gabriel leaned down and yanked a dufflebag that had been hidden away out from the corner it’d lingered in. With it having been against the wall for a while, it and the contents were slightly hot.
But that was fine with him, personally. Sam?
Not likely. Then again, the first thing done to The Titaness after Gabriel set his prey on her feet all but screamed he also didn’t care. Before Sam could run too far away, let alone out of the makeshift Abyss, her left wrist was grabbed and quickly yanked behind her back. A pained cry left Sam’s lips as Ohio spun The Titaness around, pulling her right with the same amount of strength.
Grunts mingled in with whimpers and near sobs as Sam yanked and pulled violently against Ohio. When the tell-tale
clicking of cuffs securing her arms behind her back registered to her ears echoed?
Samantha’s heart damn well
sank.
”Bastard …”It was the only thing that could enter Sam’s mind for a quip. Her fists clenched tightly as she tried to think. Was there really nothing to do but wait? For a bit, it felt like
maybe something else could be done.
Whatever the idea had been, though, disappeared completely as a blindfold was wrapped tightly around Sam’s eyes.
Normally, this was … something she did behind very private and closed doors. But there was a massive difference in having a lover do this sort of act … versus a man like Gabriel Ohio.
And with the latter having occurred?
Her heart was pounding frantically in her chest.
”What the fuck do you want, anyway?! Wasn’t breaking my fingers enough?!” ”He never did this with you, did he?” Gabriel clicked his tongue.
”Such a waste. So many opportunities and chances … all gone.” Although the smirk adorning Gabriel’s face couldn’t be
seen, The Titaness could sense it decently. Well enough to turn her head away, scoffing in disdain at Ohio’s sadism … which was definitely only becoming more and more obvious with each passing second.
”That’s okay. I’ll give you everything he never got to … and more. Not just Snakebite, either; but the old me.” ”Then you should shut up and hurry, shouldn’t you?” ”Not at all. I’ve already found quite a few useful triggers to use against you. Besides, this …”Gabriel briefly paused, nodding after deciding which word would be the best to use.
”Solo session of sorts we’re having … I never intended for this one to last very long. Just enough to get a taste … and take some knowledge with me. But one of these days, you truly will come home with me. And it’ll be even better than anything either of us could imagine.” Samantha’s eyebrows furrowed as she quickly shook her head.
”This was just set up in your favor. Zombie had a huge ass match, otherwise she definitely would have helped out. None of the Maidens are going to let this bullshit repeat. Especially now that we’ve all seen you’re not just all bark and zero bite when it comes to these threats.” ” … Did you truly think that about me?” Intrigue, more than any other emotion one would have assumed, had been noted in Gabriel’s voice. Sam gave a quick, firm nod.
”Should I not have? We met back in HcW. Not long after …” Her arms instinctively tried to gesture around herself, only to be stopped by the cuffs. Her eyes rolled behind the blindfold as she nodded towards herself.
”Well … all the shit between me and Rob … Snakebite … whoever you wanna refer to him as. Anyway, we started our fights not long after forming Team Chimera. And you. Did. NOTHING!” ”Are you disappointed with the lack of action on my behalf, Samantha?” Were it not for the cloth around The Titaness’ eyes, Ohio would easily be able to see Sam trying to glare a hole right through him.
”Don’t be fucking stupid! No! I’m not … crazy like that. I wouldn’t dare wish for shit like …. this … to happen! To me or anyone!” ”You’re lying. You are. Some part of you is, anyway. It’s okay. Like I promised, I’ll give you everything and more.” The next sensation Sam registered was a large hand wrapping around her throat. It squeezed slightly; not enough to fully cut oxygen from her, but it definitely weakend any cries or screams Sam would consider trying to elicit now.
”You feel it, don’t you? Your heart … even here, it’s beating. You do, Sam. You want this.” ”Fuck off already! You may have broken my fingers, but that’s all you’re going to succeed with!” ”For tonight anyway, yes.”His smirk widened even more.
”But that’s more than alright with me. I wouldn’t want to kill your spirit anyway. It’s far too precious, and if we’re going to meet again like this? It means you have to endure tonight and every other encounter we have from here on out. So … your spirit is off limits, as is your physical body. Neither of those will be snuffed out nor fully destroyed.” By now, he’d noticed Sam staying quiet. Likely trying to ignore him … shut him out … somehow block the sound of his voice. A snarl mingled in with a growl as he squeezed tighter around The Titaness’ neck, not liking the lack of response from his prey.
”No, no. None of that.” Although the bandages were still covering him, they didn’t completely blind him. As such, the outline of Sam’s tank top reflected in his eyes .. and it gave him an idea. His grip on Sam’s throat tightened as he gripped the shirt and began roughly tugging at the fabric.
”N-NO! HEY! FUCKING STOP THAT SHIT RIGHT NOW!” ”There we go. That’s what I wanted.” Sam went almost immediately back to kicking at Ohio. Unfortunately, with the blindfold over her eyes this time, most of her attacks missed. And the few that found Gabriel’s legs? Those … were drastically weakened.
After struggling with The Titaness for a few more moments, the familiar sounds of cloth ripping echoed through the boiler room, followed by terrified whimpers.
”Don’t you fucking dare … no …” Was he really going to go there? To
those degrees?
Sure, Snakebite had sorta gone there. But even then, that was assault. Full-fledged rape though?
Nope. Not once did their encounters result to that.
But with Sam having zero ideas on where the others were - hell, if they were even able to move at all - there was a good chance of that becoming a reality. And it likely would have, too.
… If
he hadn’t started taunting his head.
Gabriel growled again, moving his hand inches away from Sam’s sports bra and grabbing onto his head.
”SHUT UP! WHY?! WHY HAVE YOU ALWAYS CARED FOR HER?!” An internal sigh of relief echoed in Sam’s head. She hadn’t originally believed the hints of the ‘old Gabriel’ versus this ‘new’ one … but it was looking as if there was some truth behind it. She didn’t really know fully what was going on.
But, apparently, it was making him hesitate long enough. And she was going to take full advantage of that fact.
”Because the old you was better than this version. That’s exactly why you never went through with your threats. Gabriel …” Her teeth latched onto her lower lip … before she nodded, and choked the next words out.
”It’s not yet too late. It wasn’t with Snakebite, it isn’t with you! You don’t need to do any of … ahh!” Before the thoughts could be finished, his hand went from the temple of his own head to Sam’s face, leaving quite the mark on her right cheek.
”Done! For tonight … we’re done. But before I go …” Ohio gripped a handful of Samantha’s hair and rammed her forehead against the nearest wall. One … two … three times and finally, she blacked out.
How long she was out was anyone’s guess. But Sam stirred the moment she heard familiar voices calling out for her.
”Honey?! Are you nearby?! Answer us, please!””Sam?!””Partner?! Sam’s mouth did indeed open; however, words weren’t the first thing to be heard. Instead, it was a series of frantic gasps and coughs, likely aided a bit by the room she’d been trapped in for longer than she desired.
Thankfully, that in itself seemed to help, because Sam heard the footfalls getting closer.
”Sam?! That you?!” ”¡Dios mío! ¡Creo que la veo! ¡En la sala de ebullición, Orión!” Seconds later, the door to the boiler room was forced open. Shocked gasps were heard from everyone. The first to speak up and voice their thoughts … was Bandit.
”What in the literal … oh my fuck …. Sam?!” Her head quickly bowed in shame as tears she’d barely kept hidden away finally fell from underneath the blindfold.
”It’s okay, honey. We’re here.” ”If anything, we should be apologizing to you.” ”Orion! Here!” ”Perfect. I was just about to ask about those. Thanks.” The sound of something small but metal flew through the air. Soon, Sam would realize Bandit had found the keys to the cuffs, evidenced by the bracelets being removed. Samantha barely waited for those to finish coming off before jerking the blindfold off, damn well nearly ripping it in the process.
” … Hun? Did … he?”It wouldn’t take long for Sam to understand what he was trying to ask. Once her vision adjusted, she noticed her husband and sisters both glancing at the exposed sports bra, now in plain sight courtesy of her ripped tank top.
”I … I mean … I think he wanted to. But did he actually?”Her head moved from side to side.
”N-No, but …”¡Hijueputa! Sam, I … we …”Both Bandit and Bullet found themselves unable to finish their train of thoughts. All they could do was stare in horror.
Slowly - and very shakily - Sam rose a trembling hand and managed to move some blonde strands of hair behind her ears.
”I’ll … I’ll live. I just need some time. And holy fuck, let’s please get out of here already, yeah? I may like summer, but not quite this much.”Joseph smirked, looking very glad that despite the dire situation she’d just gotten out of, his wife hadn’t seemed to forget how to crack a joke.
”Yeah, definitely. Let’s get home.” Wordlessly, Orion hoisted his wife into his arms, carrying her out. Meanwhile, Bandit and Bullet helped flank The Titaness. On any given day, such a precaution wouldn’t be necessary.
But with the way they’d found their sister?
It had become quickly clear that this evening was
not ‘any other day’, let alone ‘night’.
No one would say anything during the entire trek out of the stadium. If a picture spoke a thousand words … than the way Samantha had been discovered screamed well over a thousand. And all gave the others numerous thoughts that would, no doubt, haunt their minds for quite some time.

New York, New York
Exact Location: The Iroquois New York (Room 254)
Status: On-Camera ”I should have seen it coming. I really fucking should have, but … goddamnit.”A dark chuckle resounds from Samantha as her gaze shifts from the floor of her hotel room right into the lens. She slowly claps, her head moving from side to side in disgust.
”So … once again, Coven proves exactly what I’ve said time and time again about them. They’re best with tactics like ambushes. They couldn’t face us with the five individuals chosen solely for the Caged Turmoil match. No, no - that wasn’t good enough. They needed that extra ‘oomph’, so … one more recruit, right? And their choice?”A disappointed sigh resounds from Samantha’s lips.
”Someone whom …. okay ….”She goes quiet to gather her thoughts. After mulling over them, Sam slowly nods and resumes her train of thought.
”So we’ve established time and time again how everyone else - from Emily Falls to the Ihari Sisters - we can see how they ended up in this mess. Agree with? Nah. But we get it. You though, Frost Alistair? Fucking really?”Sam stares at the camera, looking disgusted and taken aback.
”Is … this some weird way of gaining acknowledgement? Have you been running into the more ungrateful bastards who don’t appreciate veterans or active duty soldiers? Is that literally your issue? I’m being deathly serious. No sarcasm whatsoever. What in the literal layers of Hell do you think you’ll get out of this? Fights? Glory? Both? I just …”Samantha chuckles again … and finally claps her hands together.
”Well, you know what? Tough shit for you. Because, apparently, you’ve given Coven your ‘Semper Fi’ and … you’ll learn in time that was the worst possible choice you could have ever made.
“This match is a damn shame. In another lifetime .. had I not been so gung-ho to be a professional wrestler, we very well could have met. Because I definitely would have been a soldier myself, and if not a Marine? An Army woman. But now?” Sam’s eyes narrow.
”I can’t look at you with any ounce of respect, much like how Bruiser couldn’t. Luckily for me, I won’t have to. The truth is … if you couldn’t handle Becca … oh, Frost …”The Titaness smirks.
”You’re not going to handle me in a Singles fight. You came into Mile High and, prior to your last bout with Bruiser, were undefeated. It was not a coincidence that a Shieldmaiden stopped you dead in your tracks, even if you want to believe otherwise. I have few doubts you’re hoping to regain your momentum. That, sadly for you, is not gonna happen, least of all against me. That’s not me being cocky, just incredibly confident. Nor am I trying to sound like Bruiser was the weakest link, because that’s not true at all. Point blank, I am one of Mile High’s best fighters period, singles or otherwise. And that doesn’t apply only to anyone who holds ranks within the Coven … but since you’re with them now, let’s focus on that for a while, yeah?
“Leah has admitted and acknowledged she still has yet to get a W over me. The Ihari sisters, even with the use of mist and shit like that, could never handle me and Bandit. And while I haven’t faced the other members of Coven in Singles combat lately? Trust me, I can include them. And yes, I am including Gabriel Despite how everything after the Caged Turmoil fight went? I saw a glimmer of hope - though he’d likely argue it’s weakness - within him. And should push come to shove? I will use that to my advantage. But for now, this is about you and me, so know … that I ...”She points to herself.
”I’m still here, after all. Still breathing, still surviving. You though? I … cannot guarantee that you’ll be ‘well’ by the time I’m done with you. Even more so since you’ve decided your allegiance is with Coven.” Another pause lingers throughout the room as Samantha goes silent. For a bit, it almost looks as if she’s contemplating ending the promo. Maybe that was indeed her original idea. But then … a memory comes to her. It causes her to smirk and chuckle.
”Yeah. You know what? This works. Okay, so … congrats. From one soldier to another, here’s a rather relevant story. When I first entered another company, my very first opponent was an idiot who thought I was a porn star. And that was before I did my makeover. But the point of it … is he never got a win against any of the Shieldmaidens. We were all his bane. After Bruiser - yes the same one who just kicked your ass not too long ago - kicked his ass, he disappeared, never to be seen or heard from ever again.
“You, Frost, are going to take his place, and become the living epitome of whom Brett Kennedy used to be. Oh, what? You haven’t heard of him?” Sam’s smirk widens as she leans closer to the camera. Her face is literally in front of the lens as her voice lowers to a barely audible whisper. We then hear her utter the next words.
”That’s literally the point, sweetie. We’re going to make you gone and forgotten about.” The Titaness angrily shakes as she sits back atop the bed, glaring furiously at the camera.
”We’re all going to succeed where you all were so insistent on doing so! You wanted to make us irrelevant, and yet … New Orleans stood behind us! The Mile High audience stood behind us at Black Magic! And not just for the Caged Turmoil match! Even for Zombie … they stood behind her also! No one once cheered for any of you Coven bitches. You know what that screams to me?” Sam nods knowingly at the camera.
”It means they’re as eager to see you all gone, or weakened at the very least. And trust me, both of those - especially the latter - can and will be arranged. I would say that’s true with us also, but only partially.”Her left hand, the same one Gabriel broke the index and middle fingers of live, raises. She then moves the digits and reveals they can move.
”It’s not perfect, admittedly. But I can move them well enough to hoist you up and slam you down onto the mat as many times as I need to. Coven may very well be able to give any and all of us a damn good beating. A few even have shots at gold this coming up show. But that’s as far as your accomplishments will go. If you’re hoping we’ll give up just because straps may swap hands, you’re sadly mistaken. Me and Bandit already ensured the Ihari Sisters are gone from the Tag Division. So now …”Sam nods sternly.
”Time to see who’s next. Who will cave in? Whose ‘Semper Fi’ will crumble next? Who’s going to realize they bit off way more than they could chew by initiating this war we’re all now caught in? I guess only time will tell, but I can safely say this much; it won’t be any of us, Frost. We’ve all been wearing our kuttes proudly. Most of us for years. Myself? Only a bit over a year, but even still … neither me nor Joseph have once regretted joining the ranks of the Shieldmaidens or, in his case, Chrome Dragons. We’re damn proud of who we are and what we do.
“You though?”Her smirk widens.
”You likely will be having second thoughts about giving bastards like Coven your loyalty.” Sam leans down, grabbing a gym bag. She opens it wide enough that we can see a long roll of wrist tape inside, as well as clothes to change into, a bottle of water, her cell phone, and a few other items. The Titaness nods, closes the bag, and hoists it over her right shoulder.
”See you in a few days, Frost. Much like the title of your song dictates, bodies will indeed hit the floor, but only one won’t get up after a three count. And that … is yours!” Samantha begins exiting her room, likely to use the gym within the hotel. Seconds after the door closes, the recording comes to an abrupt end.
