The following Character Development begins with "The Adorkable Angel" Azurine Vebbins and her cousin Techne Vebbins boarding a United flight headed from LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) to DEN (Denver International Airport). Their flight is scheduled to leave at 5:42 p.m. Pacific Standard Time and arrive in Denver at 9:10 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. Both women are flying to Denver for different reasons. For Azurine, she received a job opportunity to wrestle professionally for Mile High Wrestling. Meanwhile, Techne was being set up on a date with Azurine colleague and close friend "The Titaness" Samantha Hamilton. After receiving assistance with stuffing their carryon luggage into the overhead compartment, Azurine and Techne settle into their seats reading different tomes. "The Adorkable Angel" is perusing Book 1 of "Usagi Yojimbo" while Techne chose to bone up on Greek mythology. Time elapses when their first conversation commences mid-flight.
Azurine Vebbins: Greek Mythology, Techne?
Techne Vebbins: Yes, Azzy. Want to make sure I'm prepared if Sam quizzes me...
Azurine Vebbins: Sam's not dat kind of date. She calm, kind, cool, and collected...much like you when you open up and let someone get to know you.
Techne Vebbins: She knows I'm not lookin' long-term, right?
Azurine Vebbins: Sam wanted me to tell you dat's how she feels, too. And while yes, if you don't feel complete by yourself, den no one will make you feel whole when you meet dem, but you definitely have dat look like you want to at least date somebody.
Techne Vebbins: Guess it's just da nerves talkin' and not flyin' as regularly as you do.
Azurine Vebbins: My sweet-heart's definitely gifted me wid plenty of frequent flyer miles...

More time elapses and after making sure to remain hydrated the entire flight duration, the Vebbins cousins arrive in Denver. Azurine decided to wear a mint-green rockabilly dress and matching heels while Techne sported a red & black skater dress with red heels. In terms of appearance, Techne bears a striking resemblance to Isla Fisher but with glasses on since members of the Clan Vebbins tend to have poor eyesight without glasses or contacts. They both walk over to and wave at a towering Samantha Hamilton.
