We open up as we see “Killer” Kara Carter sitting at the bar, dressed in a pair of black leather boots, a pair of skin tight black denim jeans, a black In This Moment T-shirt and her Shieldmaiden kutte, as she slowly drinks a glass of Scotch while Molly “Mox” Kenyon tends to the bar, other Shieldmaidens and Chrome Dragons are scattered about the place, the club has been pretty quiet ever since their talent director and Killer’s sister, Tori Carter, was arrested.
This fucking sucks. Can I get another Scotch please, Mox?
Killer shows Mox that her glass is empty and Mox nods before preparing her another drink when the front door to the club opens, forcing the behemoth to turn her attention in that direction to see Tori standing there.
Fuckin’ hell, Sugar!
Both Killer and Mox rush over to the redhead and first it’s Killer who embraces her and then Mox does as several other members of both the Shieldmaidens and the Chrome Dragons also embrace her, welcoming her back.
What happened? Who bailed you out?
Road Captain of the Shieldmaidens, Becca “Bruiser” Maguire walks over and nods as she folds her arms.
Aye, that’d be nice to know since we had nothin’ sorted out yet on our end, lass.
Well ain’t that a fuckin’ surprise! Didn’t think that piece o’ shite had a decent bone in his body!
He did it for himself, Bex. He said since my arrest he’s had police contacting him because I told them that he’s Rose’s father and he didn’t want… he didn’t want a reminder that he’s a father.
The redhead then bursts into tears and buries her face in the arms of Mox who does her best to comfort the distressed woman.
Mox gently cuddles her girlfriend in her arms.
It’s alright, Sugar. We’ll get through this. Don’t y’all worry about a thang…
As she kisses Tori’s head, the door opens again to admit the Shieldmaidens President, Alex “Bullet” Carbajal. Bullet walks over and nods to everyone.
I thought Jack had not fixed this yet?
Our favorite asshole, Steele Matthews bailed Tori out… didn’t want the reminder of his fatherly duty.
Killer reaches for an empty glass on a nearby table, however Bullet quickly places her hand on the behemoth’s wrist, knowing full well what was about to happen next.
Hijueputa ... cálmate … have we found out anything else? Did he pay for her to have a ride or did we do that?
His bodyguard dropped me off.
Killer slumps down into a nearby chair and puts her head in her hands before slowly running her hands through her short hair, shaking her head.
Well at least we now know he wasn’t behind the arrest in the first place… which means there’s only one other possibility.
The behemoth gets to her feet.
What do you mean no, Tori? Who else is gonna fucking benefit from pulling this bull shit? You know that it’s gotta be them, so why are you trying to defend them still?
Bullet ponders this for a split second.
Mox’s jaw drops.
Y’all can’t be serious? Why would they do such a thing to they’s own daughter? Ain’t they like Tori?
She pauses and nods in acknowledgement.
Relatively speakin’, I mean.
They probably think that because Tori’s now with a fucking biker gang, that Rose is gonna grow up like the rest of us and not a rich “perfect” princess.
You don’t know that, Kara.
I don’t? Tori… that’s why I walked out of our family home the moment I was able too! Because I refused to fit into their mold like you did! And then what happened when Steele kicked you and Rose out and you realised you no longer wanted to live your life that way anymore? If you thought they genuinely gave a fuck about either of us? You’d have gone to them… but no… you came here to me!
More tears begin to fall down Tori’s face.
Tori… listen to me… I know that it took me a while to forgive you for how our childhood went. But the reason why we ended up separated? The reason why we never got along until now? It was because of those fucking scumbags we call our parents. You know there’s a big chance that they’re behind this shit… don’t you?
After a brief moment of silence, Tori wipes away her tears before nodding.
Bullet raises her hands.
Okay, we need Jack to call lawyers and see what all has been filed. If it is your parents, they will seek custody, yes? This means they will need to do two things to win…
Mox frowns in confusion.
They will need to come after us to prove that Tori is unfit. So we will need to be diligent with the testing. They will come at us any way they can to prove this. They will try to use my family against you because Kara is to marry my sister. But they will also need a second thing that is almost funny to think of…
The others all look at her and Bullet smirks knowingly.
They will need to get Steele to both admit he is Rose’s father and sign documentation swearing to it. They might also need him to take a paternity test. He is unwilling to do these things at present as proven by his bailing you out of jail.
Killer folds her tree trunk like arms across her chest.
So the little bastard could in fact be our best chance of making sure that we don’t lose Rose?
Es la verdad…
Mox shakes her head.
Ain’t that a kick in the ass…
Killer steps closer to Bullet and looks her dead in the eyes.
Ale… if that son of a bitch does end up proving that he’s Rose’s father… I need to know that you can make sure my parents don’t win. Please tell me you can promise me that?
Bullet now stares her future sister-in-law dead in the eyes.
Everything that can be done will be done if it becomes necessary. Right now, we need to confirm things. We cannot pick a fight if we do not know who we are fighting. Once we do know, then we can begin fighting back properly. This, I can promise you, will happen.
Killer lightly nods before giving Bullet a brief hug.
That’s good enough for me.
The behemoth turns to her sister and puts her arm around her and looks around to the rest of the group.
Well since this fight ain’t happening until we get a few more things sorted, I think we should celebrate the fact we have Tori back.
The group nod and cheer which finally brings a smile to Tori’s face as Killer kisses her on the side of the head as the scene fades.

Shieldmaidens Warehouse Gym in New Orleans, LA
The scene re-opens as we see “Killer” Kara Carter sitting on the apron of one of the practice rings, dressed in a pair of white sneakers, a pair of skin tight plain black leggings and a plain black sports bra with her hands and wrists taped up and clasped together as she looks down to the ground.
I grew up as an outcast… came from a rich family who cared for nothing but money, power and materialistic things. Even at school… I had no friends… nobody close to me. Once I hit sixteen… I got the Hell outta there… without a care in the world and didn’t give a fuck where I ended up. Just me and my Harley…
Carter smirks as she lifts her head up and looks into the camera.
I finally found a family in the Shieldmaidens. And they have been more of a family to me than anyone else ever has been. So naturally… most of the places they go too… I go too… and as a result of that, I find myself here… in Mile High Wrestling.
She now leans back against the ring ropes.
For those Mile High fans who don’t know me… my name is Killer Carter… and I’ve been doing this for about two and a half years now. I’ve been in the ring with many legends of this great sport over that time and I’m even a former World Champion.
Pushing herself off the apron, the behemoth starts to remove the tape from around her hands and wrists.
But I know that here? None of that matters. It’s a different territory… new challenges for me to overcome… and that’s where you come in, El Diablo Blanco.
She finishes removing the tape and tosses it into a nearby trash can.
It’s quite clear that you and I are nothing alike… you’re a seasoned veteran of this sport with over twenty years experience… your style is heavily based on the Lucha Libre style with a lot of risk taking. I on the other hand… many would still consider me a rookie… and I prefer to keep my feet on the ground and use my power, submissions and technical skill to keep my opponents grounded, not to mention that for someone of my size… I’m pretty quick too.
Killer then folds her tree trunk like arms across her chest.
However there is one thing we have in common… that being that we both have a very strong love for this business. You see, Blanco, I consider the wrestling mat sacred… because for me? Wrestling allowed me to find a family… and I’m not talking about a locker room full of people who all share the same dream as me… no… I’m talking about my Shieldmaiden sisters. I found them through this business… and that is something I will be forever grateful for.
She chuckles a little.
This is my life. I live, breathe, eat, drink and sleep wrestling. I’m sure you understand?
Now, her expression shifts to a more serious one.
But with all that said, Blanco, no matter how much I may respect you for who you are and for what you’ve done for this business? I’m going into Throwdown this Sunday with only one objective and one objective only… to have my arm raised in victory. Because at the end of the day, I’m here in Mile High to further my legacy… to continue building my name until people consider me a legend of this great sport. And what better way to do that then by defeating a veteran with over twenty years experience?
The behemoth then proceeds to flex her muscles for the world to see, showing off the size of her arms as she smirks again.
Welcome to the Gun Show… El D!
Making the devil’s horns sign with her right hand, Killer sticks out her tongue before then disappearing off camera as the scene fades.

The following interview has been conducted through Zoom
The scene opens up on a computer screen with backstage interviewer, Jordan Hagan, manning interview duties. He’s wearing his signature black button up and black sport coat.
Jordan Hagan: Ladies and gentlemen, as always, I am the illustrious Jordan Hagan and we are back for another season of Mile High Wrestling. Boy, do we have a treat for you today. As only I can do, I have secured the exclusive rights to sit down with a man that has developed a cult following over the last year and a half in the business and one that is making his debut here in MHW in just a few short days. Over the next coming weeks and months, I will sit down with his individual to really dig deep and peel away the layers of the proverbial onion and really get to know just who is The Backyard Phenom. Without further ado, I present to you El Diablo Blanco.
Just then, the other side of the screen turns on to show El Diablo Blanco sitting down at his kitchen table sporting a #DadLife t-shirt.
Jordan Hagan: El Diablo Blanco, first and foremost, thank you for joining us today.
El D: Let me tell you something, Brother. I know my name can be a bit of a mouthful; especially when you really get going. For all intent and purposes, just refer to me as El D, Brother.
Jordan Hagan: Of course, El D. You have quite the buzz around you isn’t that right?
El D: I don’t know about that, Brother. I heard you talk about El D developing a cult-like following and I don’t think it’s quite that big. I’ve gotten a few followers here and there, Brother, but that’s not why I’m in it. All I can say, it has been a wild ride.
Jordan Hagan: Modesty. I love it. Now, this Sunday at Throwdown you will be making your debut with Mile High Wrestling against another debutee that has quite the reputation themselves in Killer Carter. How does one prepare for an opponent the likes of Killer Carter?
El D:I don’t know, Brother. How does someone ever truly prepare for an athlete the size and magnitude of Miss Carter? I mean, she stands at least two inches taller than me, is a shredded 160 pounds. I mean, I’ve got almost a hundred pound difference on her but mine’s all flab. I guess the only way to really prepare for Killer Carter, Brother, is the same way I prepare for any opponent I’ve ever gone up against. You learn about them. You watch tapes. Well, I guess technically it’s streams now but you get the point. As for myself, I just keep doing what I always do. I train, I work out. I just try to be the best that I can be. I know a lot of people out there see that I’ve been backyard wrestling for the past twenty plus years, Brother, but they assume I even knew what I was doing.
Jordan Hagan: That is one of the most fascinating things about your story, El D. In my research you started roughly around fourteen… fifteen years old backyard wrestling with your friends but only even started getting trained to wrestle professionally when you were 34?
El D: That’s correct.
Jordan Hagan: That blows my mind. In today’s sit down I would love to go back to the very beginning. I want to know what brought you into backyard wrestling to begin with. What developed this passion for the sport known as professional wrestling.
El D: Well, I’d have to say it was the summer between middle school and high school, Brother. I had just turned fourteen. I was really nervous about entering high school. I didn’t have very many friends. I was a bit of an introvert.
Jordan Hagan: Is that because you wore a mask?
El Diablo Blanco chuckles at Hagan’s question.
El D: No, Brother. The mask didn’t come until a little bit later. I mean, I hung out around other kids but it was more like I existed adjacent to them. I ran cross country and track. I had the same crowd around me but outside of that, we never spent any time together. Like I said, I didn’t have anyone that was an actual friend, Brother. That is, until I went for a run one day and ended up passing by Clarence’s house.
Jordan Hagan: And this is Clarence Hardbody?
El D: That would be him.
Jordan Hagan: Bass Player for Pristine Libido?
El D: The one and the same, Brother. Don’t worry, I can get you a signed 8x10.
Jordan Hagan: My daughter would love that. Can you have him make it out to Jordan?
El D: Your daughter’s name is Jordan as well?
Jordan Hagan: Sure… anyways, you were talking about passing by Clarence’s house?
El D: Yeah, so I was on my run and I came across Clarence’s house. Him and another kid were building their very own wrestling ring in the backyard. It caught my attention so I stopped to check it out. Now, remember Brother, I’m the sheer definition of introvert so this was outside my element to even stop and see what was going on but something about it just drew me in. I mean, I grew up watching wrestling, Brother. I was a mark but this was my first time seeing something like this up close and person. Clarence saw me and called me over to give him a hand tightening the ring ropes so I went over. He told me that he was going to be putting on a show that afternoon and everyone from the neighborhood was going to be there. Full disclosure, it was his mom and a cousin that was staying with him. His cousin didn’t want to be there but he had nothing better to do. You also got to remember this was about ‘98 or ‘99.
El Diablo Blanco pauses to take a drink of water.
El D: Anyways, he said that he needed someone to wrestle later that day and asked me to fill the open slot. To this day I don’t know what it was that compelled me to but I said yes. We had the match. We just kind of gelled, Brother. I could Diggit. So, I kept showing up every day after that so we could talk about moves we’d seen, moves we wanted to try, what was next. I was hooked from the get.
Jordan Hagan: There’s one thing that I need to know. You said there was another kid helping him set up the ring. Did that kid ever become anything?
El D: Yes and no. Do you remember Killer Klown From Outerspace?
Jordan Hagan: What?! Mind blown, officially. Seriously, that is mind melting. Now, I know there’s a whole twenty year history there and we are going to delve in more over the course of the next couple of weeks but what officially caused the jump from backyard wrestling at 34 years old to wanting to be a pro wrestler?
El D: It all boils down to my family, Brother. I was working my normal nine to five as a medical coder from home helping out the wifey and my two little Diablitos at home. Every weekend I was chasing down backyard shows wherever I could but after awhile my wife said enough. Let me tell you something, Brother. Imagine a 34 year old man wrestling 15 year old kids in someone’s backyard for no pay. I did it just because I loved it. Unfortunately, that isn’t the best look for the neighborhood. Cops were called all the time and I’d have to hightail it out of there, Brother. Ultimately, however, my wife got laid off, we were down to one income and I was given the ultimatum to either turn wrestling into a career and actually make some money off of it or quit it and get a second job.
Jordan Hagan: So you went all in on wrestling?
El D: Yes and no, Brother. I did both. I got a job working night shift to pay for wrestling school. I knew there would be money in wrestling down the road so I made an investment in myself, Brother. I had wifey at home. I had my two year old and my five year old to take care of. It was just a matter of turning a hobby into a job, Brother.
Jordan Hagan: Turning it into a job you did. A year and a half later, you only wrestle. No nine to five. No night job. You have been able to successfully turn it into a career.
El D: It was no easy task, Brother. Much of that came from my Taco Bell sponsorship or that million dollar prize I won in the Roth Invitational but both those stories are for another time.
Jordan Hagan: Another time indeed but I don’t want you to go just yet. You are a man known for your hard work. You are known to dig deep down to an area that most don’t even know is in them to persevere. You worked two jobs, went to wrestling school, took care of your wife and two small children. Is joining Mile High Wrestling your chance to finally breathe and say, “I’ve made it.”
El D: Not even in the slightest, Brother. We’re just getting started. Now is when things go into overdrive. With each passing match, I keep getting better, Brother. My goal in this sport is not to just get by. My goal is to thrive. You may have seen that little video I put out earlier in the week that my five year old helped me produce. I’m five foot ten on a good day, Brother. I’m rocking a mean dad bod. That means I need to keep pushing myself harder and harder to meet others where they are already at. I’m not one to back down from a challenge either, Brother. I want to be the best. I want to be a role model to my kids. I want to be a role model to each and every kid out there. Heck, I want to be a role model to every person, man, woman, child that doesn’t think they are good enough. I want to show your average joe that if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish your dreams, Brother. I am living proof that if you put in the hard work, hard work will pay off. I have been blessed to call myself a champion everywhere I’ve gone up until this point. Now, I watched Mile High Wrestling in the past. I’ve seen people come in with a reputation only to have their dreams and aspirations crushed. MHW isn’t for the faint of heart. That’s why I see it as a challenge.
El Diablo Blanco pauses for another quick drink of water.
El D: I take a look at my debut this Sunday at Throwdown and my opponent in Killer Carter and I get more than a feeling that we are going to rock and roll all nite, Brother. Killer Carter is a Shieldmaiden which means she’s one tough cookie. I do believe that, Sister. Their motto is something about Hell’s empty, well Sunday night we’re taking that highway to hell and this ramblin man is going to do everything in his power, Brother to ensure Killer Carter is kept comfortably numb. Be prepared, Killer Carter, for we’re going to take a walk on the wild side and I’ll just have one question for you? Whatcha gonna do, Sister, when I climb that stairway to heaven and leap on you with Feeling Froggy? Coming to Mile High Wrestling was just what I needed to feel rejuvenated, Sister, and I can’t get enough of that sweet emotion. So, this Sunday I’m going to take that slow ride to Magness Arena in Denver, Colorado and I plan on takin’ care of business. Diggit?! Killer Carter, I respect everything you’ve done up until this point in your life. You’ve got a good soul, Sister. There’s a few flaws here and there but who doesn’t? You’ve got the right intent in your heart and that’s all that matters. I can’t wait to share the ring with you at Throwdown. Win, lose or draw I know no matter what I walk away a better competitor just by sharing the ring with you, Sister. Let’s make some magic.
Jordan Hagan: I want to thank you for sharing your time with me today, El D. I know you’ve got a busy schedule ahead of you. I look forward to meeting you in person this Sunday and to all you MHW fans out there, stay tuned because this is just Part One of our sit down interview with El Diablo Blanco.
The feed cuts out to black.

Jul 4, 2021 14:22:58 GMT -6
Admin: Where do yall hist photos? I'm thinking about switching sites, because I'm paying a monthly subscription for Photobucket and they got watermarks back on my images. I'm guessing it's a glitch or something, but it's already been two days.
Aug 7, 2021 6:56:18 GMT -6
The Purge: I use Imgur - and I've never paid a cent for their services, and no water marks

Deleted: o.o Lord, Rob! Get away from Photobucket ASAP! I’m with Haircin — use Imgur. It’s way better and costs nothing.
Aug 8, 2021 16:28:35 GMT -6
Admin: I appreciate yall! ✊💯💯 Ima look into it this week. Apologies to everyone if some of the images for the show tonight have that Photobucket watermark. I didn't have the time today obviously to make any switches. But I will make time this week. 💯💯

Aug 8, 2021 17:44:00 GMT -6
Admin: ***NOTE*** I moved the deadline up 12 hours to give the judges an extra day to read over the rps.
Aug 10, 2021 15:29:37 GMT -6
Admin: Started messing with Imgur today and confirmed to myself that Imgur was the original photo host I was using for Season One and the beginning of Season Two of MHW. Something made me mad and thats when I switched to Photobucket. I don't remember what though.
Aug 12, 2021 16:08:47 GMT -6
Admin: Ima still switch back to it though, because the Photobucker watermarks are still showing up on some images.
Aug 12, 2021 16:09:19 GMT -6

Sept 15, 2021 15:35:32 GMT -6
cmosh: Don't worry I don't know how to pronounce it either. She is actually played by someone else, so it is sometimes hard to do RP's with them due to our work schelduce but I am alound to use the character over here
Sept 15, 2021 19:28:12 GMT -6
Admin: Trying something different with the match writing, based off of research and just to try something new. It's a hit or miss concept, so feedback would be appreciated. ThrowDown will also debut the new layout concept. AMMO will start with that new layout...
