The following interview has been conducted through Zoom The scene opens up on a computer screen with backstage interviewer, Abi Rose, manning interview duties. Contrasting previous sit down interviews El Diablo Blanco has had with Jordan Hagan, who sported dress shirt and jacket, Abi Rose instead dresses in loose fitting flannel shirt. On the other side of the screen the Backyard Phenom, MHW Phoenix Champion, El Diablo Blanco is shown sitting in his garage donning a Ghost Lifestyle tank top. Early 90s era gym equipment can be seen in the background. You know the style. Black and white all in one gym located in every family's basement across America. Abi Rose: El Diablo Blanco, first and foremost thank you. I am aware that there are plenty of people around Mile High Wrestling that you could have chosen to take over interview duties as you tell your story. I am humbled by the fact that you chose me to continue this story.El Diablo Blanco clasps his hands together in front of him and bows to Abi. El Diablo Blanco: I can tell from our recent interaction that you have a good heart, Sister. It shines through as you take on your new role in the company. It is I that am humbled by the fact that you would accept my offer to continue this interview series.Abi Rose: Well, again, thank you. To bring everyone up to speed, welcome to part three of MHW’s sit down with professional wrestler, El Diablo Blanco, in which we are chronicolizing the transition between backyard wrestler to professional wrestler and the growth of the Diablo Nation. Before we dive in today El D, I would like to inquire about your current thought process after two weeks ago when you went one on one with The War Queen Leah Aguero. Outside of the loss, her post-match antics must not sit well with you.El Diablo Blanco: It certainly took a bit, Sister. Miss Aguero’s Endgame left me reeling as it was. It wasn’t until I got backstage and surveyed my mask and subsequently rewatched footage that I became aware of what had transpired. There are many that assume that I would be angry with the War Queen’s actions but if I can have just a moment to address Miss Aguero.Abi Rose: Go right ahead.El Diablo Blanco: Miss Aguero, I forgive you for your transgressions. I know there is good in you. I have seen it in the past. I have seen it the way you have taken others under your wing. I have seen your transition from being someone’s backup to being a leading lady. I appreciate your tenacity to get the win and being in the ring with you two weeks ago was a whole semester of learning rolled all into one match. For that, I came out of our match with an abundance of knowledge and thank you for that. While I cannot dig what you did post-match I understand that you were simply trying to make a statement. Next time, and I’m sure down the road there will be a next time, please do not tarnish the legacy I am making with this mask. El D, in previous weeks, Jordan and you discussed getting into backyard wrestling and what it meant to you to find solace in a work in which you felt you didn’t fit in. It is actually why you don that mask. While I don’t wish to gloss over your entire time as a backyard wrestler I would like to delve into the transition between backyard and professional. What caused the jump?El Diablo Blanco: Well, Sister. It is certainly multifaceted in my reasons. For so long I had been wrestling in backyards, running the circuits all over town making no money. Just doing it for the love of the game, if you will. I’ve come across so many individuals that got recognized through a gif or some sort of clip online that caught the eye of professional companies. They got the approval. Mine never came about. No matter what I did, whether I dove off rooftops, set myself on fire, went through barbed-wire light tube and plywood contraptions, fell off ladders or broke the ring on a fall I just wasn’t getting noticed, Sister. Maybe it’s because no one wants to see a 35 year old man just starting out on the scene.Abi Rose: 35 isn’t that old to be a rookie. Well, I guess if the grand scheme of things it does limit the amount of years you’ll be doing this.El Diablo Blanco: Exactly, Sister. Now, over the last year leading up until I got trained to become a professional wrestler, I had started seeing this girl coming up on the backyard circuit. She just didn’t seem to fit the mold. That’s not to say she didn’t belong. No way, Sister. El D ain’t no misogynist. What I mean by that, Sister, is that she seemed destined for bigger things but she just wasn’t ready to make the leap. I took her under my wing sorta and we had conversations any time we found ourselves in the same backyard. I urged her to go get trained professionally and make the jump. She was scared and rightfully so. One person is like a single grain of sand in the Sahara desert that is professional wrestling, Sister. We’re a dime a dozen and only a handful of us ever truly make it in this business. So you know what I tell her, Sister. I tell her being a wrestler is like walking on the treadmill of life. You get off it and it just keeps going. Don’t miss out on your opportunity, Sister. Get back on that treadmill and ride it.Abi Rose: I don’t think that analogy means what you think it means.El Diablo Blanco: Let me tell you something, Sister. I may not be the most learned individual but whatever I said, it worked. That young lady made the transition and she went on to become a World Champion and held that strap for over a year. Her name is Arley Kirk and to this day is a staple of the One Wrestle Movement, Sister.Abi Rose: And how does that translate back to you?El Diablo Blanco: Well, before she left the backyard circuit she told me she wouldn’t do it until I guaranteed one day I would go get trained. Seeing her take the leap encouraged me to do the same.Abi Rose: Fascinating. Now, you also said that it was multifaceted. What else pushed you towards becoming pro?El Diablo Blanco takes a moment to reflect and then with a finger rubs at his eye as if he’s getting a bit emotional. El Diablo Blanco: Well, Sister. As you know, I had been doing this for twenty years. At the same time I was staying home with my two daughters raising them while Wifey was off at work. As some companies tend to do, they downsized. Unfortunately, Wifey was on that chopping block. Suddenly our only income coming into the house was gone. Now, she was able to collect unemployment but the true tipping of the scale was the fact that we were left without insurance.Abi Rose: So you made the transition so you can make money and afford insurance to support your two young children?El D’s head drops a bit. El Diablo Blanco: Wifey is type 1 diabetic. She’s on an insulin pump that requires a constant flow of insulin throughout her body. Sometimes, it reaches up to 300 units in a day and a half. That’s a lot of insulin. Do you know how much insulin costs per vial?Abi Rose: From my understanding a ton. So the transition was to pay for insulin?El Diablo Blanco: Oh God no. Are you kidding? There’s no way I could afford insulin on a wrestler’s salary. At least not until I hit it big. There was no time for that. I ended up getting a 9-5. I had a medical coding certificate so I worked for a hospital but was able to stay at home the entire time. We got insurance and income flowing in.Abi Rose: I’m sorry. I just don’t understand how this translates to you going pro.El Diablo Blanco: Hold your horses, Sister. It’s called storytelling. I’ll get there…. Listen, I’m sorry for the harsh language. Just talking about Wifey’s medical condition gets me riled up. Anyways, Wifey saw that I was miserable because I had to quit backyard wrestling. She’s the one that said if you are going to do it, go all in. I’m telling you. Wifey’s one cool chick, Sister. Without hesitation, I was working my 9 to 5, going to the glorious GOAT Farm Wrestling School three times a week and still trying to take any backyard show I could on the weekends. You know, so I wouldn’t get rusty.Abi Rose: I would think you wouldn’t get rusty due to the fact that you are training three nights a week but I’ve learned not to question your methods.El Diablo Blanco: What I’m trying to say, Sister, is that without Wifey losing her job, I might not have ever gotten the kick in the rear end to strive to go pro. It was a glorious feeling. I mean, everyone’s got their story, Sister. My opponents this week, for example. Stephanie Sullivan and Talia Areano. They’ve all got stories. Miss Sullivan had it rough growing up but she’s turned out to be an amazing mother and an entertaining wrestler. Plus, she hails for Detroit. GO RED WINGS. Yeah, I know. I’m from Chicago so I need to be a “Blackhawks” fan. Malarkey. Red and White through and through, Sister. She’s made a name for herself already here in Mile High Wrestling. She main evented the first show, defeated a hall of famer in the second. The sky is the limits for this girl if you ask me, Sister. Then there’s Talia Areano. This chica has amassed championships wherever she has gone. Talk about putting in the hard work, Sister. Parents emigrated to the United States, grew up in East St. Louis. I don’t know about you but East St. Louis isn’t the best part of town, Sister. Miss Areano has had to overcome adversity after adversity. Just wow.Abi Rose: I think it goes without saying, you seem to respect your upcoming opponents.El Diablo Blanco: I respect everyone, Sister. I have been told so many times that respect is earned. No it’s not, Sister. Respect isn’t earned. You give respect from the moment you meet someone. Even better, you respect someone before you even meet them. Losing respect is another entity unto itself. Losing respect is what’s earned. If we don’t treat each other the way we want to be treated then what’s the point? Aren’t we all just out here trying to do what’s best for humanity. A little kindness goes a long way if you ask me, Sister. That’s why I know this upcoming Sunday at MHW ThrowDown on Splat TV you all are about to bear witness to a three way dance that just may very well steal the show, Sister. Three very different individuals all hungry to try to make it to that next echelon. I know I’ve got a target on my back thanks in no part to this MHW Phoenix Title, Sister, but we got to keep on keeping on. I’m looking forward to this but to my opponents I just got to say expect the unexpected when you go toe to toe with the leader of the Diablo Nation, Sisters. I’ve been branded too hot to handle, too cold to hold if you can diggit. If there’s one thing in life I’ve learned it’s to live strong, act bold, be brave. Nothing’s too hard to do as long as you always believe. When we walk into the Magness Arena this Sunday the strength of the Diablo Nation will flow through me. They believe in me. I believe in me and when all is said and done, we all shall rise to the occasion because I believe in the two of you as well. So let’s do this, Sisters. We are coming off MHW's Throwdown event, this event didn't only have a title match, but it would also determine the next challenger for Leah's Ultimate Championship. With one win and one loss in her MHW career, Talia Areano could make the quick jump from fighting for the TV championship and making her way to the main event scene in a swift fashion. All she had to do was throw four other competitors over the top-rope, and she would be squaring off with Leah.
Unfortunately, I will have to make a slight detour on my way to the main event as I didn't come out as the winner in the match. Not a big deal on my part, I'm always known to scratch and claw my way to the top of the mountain, and it will be no different in MHW; it just wasn't my time. But the real question is, what is next for me in MHW?
As the scene comes alive, it is a slightly cloudy day. We are back in Denver, Colorado, for the latest edition of MHW's Throwdown. We find Talia backstage, she is in her ring gear, but she also wears her t-shirt designed by MHW. Which she is enjoying to the fullest by the apparent smile on her face."
Talia Areano: "You see this shirt amigos? Isn't it awesome? I loved how it came out, and I was stunned by how fast MHW made this shirt and how fast they wanted to put it in the hands of the fans. So my amigos, make sure to support your favorite chica by buying her shirt.
Talia gives a wholesome smile, giving a thumbs up.
Talia: "Now at the last Throwdown; I didn't walk out the winner of the battle royal and get a shot at the Ultimate Championship against Leah; even with that being the case, the grid continues for me, even though I will have a long journey to the Ultimate Championship. It's many other times I can capture while moving up the rankings. And I still have another opportunity to make an impact before MHW Mile High Spectacular III. This upcoming Throwdown is packed out like always, and I find myself in a triple threat match, and I will be facing Stephanie Sullivan and El Diablo Blanco. Stephanie, just like myself, is trying to do everything in her power to make an impact in MHW. We both are friends with Crystal Hilton; besides you being in the main event of the first show of MHW, you haven't achieved anything else, but I am sure you see this as a chance to position yourself higher on the card on Spectacular III."
She adjusts her footing.
Talia Areano: " Next is El Diablo Blanco, the current MHW Phoenix Champion. El D, my amigo, our paths into wrestling have been pretty different while you have been wrestling in backyards; I have traveled in the indies learning to sport from different angles, competing against the best across the world. When I started wrestling at fifth-teen years old, I wore a mask for a point in my career until I lost it in a match, which was an immense dishonor. But I managed to lock something inside myself that made me one of the best luchadoras to step in the ring. Since stepping into MHW, you have impacted MHW El D; even though you lost to Leah on the last Throwdown, it hasn't truly hurt your credibility in this company. Suffering another loss could do that; winning this match could put me in line for a Phoenix Championship match, and that is something I'm determined to set in stone."

Stephanie’s Home…
Stephanie Sullivan had found herself waking up in bed. It seemed like it was early in the morning and as she turned in the bed she couldn’t help but smile as a beautiful blonde woman was right there next to her. Stephanie cracks a wicked grin as she runs her hands through the blonde’s long hair. The blonde slowly stirred before opening her eyes and offering a long drawn out yawn in return. Stephanie winks as she speaks to her softly.
“Did you enjoy your beauty rest last night Nadja?!”
Nadja just giggles in return. The Swedish woman nods her head as she looks back at the Mexican Irish woman.
“Ja… It was really good although I don’t think either of us have really done much sleeping. It was fun though…. I never felt a bed move so much…”
Stephanie is the one that is all giggles as she softly runs her hands through her hair some more.
“That’s what made it special. These last two weeks have been some of the best weeks in my life. I really am happy that Seleana introduced us to one another. The way we work around a bed I would definitely say it has been worth it in that regard but I can’t wait for us to do so much more. I can’t wait to show you off in public. The two of us walking hand and hand with one another! I can imagine the long walks on the beach and don’t even let me get started on just date nights. Anything we do will be magical…”
Nadja opens her eyes in amazement as she is taken back a bit.
“So is that how you feel Ja?! What is is that you are wanting trying to ask me Miss Sullivan?! You know I am listening and whatever is on your mind you can feel free to just go for it…”
Stephanie leans forward as she strokes Nadja’s hair softly some more.
“Well Miss Lindstrom what I really wanted to ask you is I know you have been in America for a short period of time now. It has been nice getting to know you and seeing how much work you have put into working for your cousin at the Zdunich Zoological Gardens. All of that is amazing but what I would really like to know is how would you feel about being my girlfriend?! I want us to be official, official…”
Nadja’s eyes light right up as there was nothing that could contain the huge smirk that appeared right on her hips. She nods her head replying in return.
“I can’t believe that you are really asking me this… You know what Stephanie I think that the two of us should be….”
Before she could even finish her statement it is at this moment where Stephanie’s doorbell begins to ring. Stephanie is frustrated as she moves the covers back and looks back at Nadja with an uneasy expression on her face.
“What the hell! Who could possibly be bothering us at this time in the morning?! They have some nerve ringing my doorbell!”
Stephanie quickly places a robe on as she storms her way to the front door. She swings the front door open and standing on the opposite side of the door is none other than Stephanie’s best friend Crystal Zdunich. The blue haired vixen smiles as she looks back at Stephanie with a wicked grin on her lips.
“WHAT THE HELL CHRISTINA?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT TIME IT IS?!”
Crystal just laughs as she shrugs her shoulders in return.
“I know it’s early and honestly I shouldn’t be here right now but you need to understand something. Seleana tells me that you have been spending a lot of time with her cousin. She also said I should let you have your space and things will happen in due time like they did for Seleana and I. You need to understand something though I am not really one that could be described as patient. I need to play the role of match maker. I NEED to be involved. If you need any tips you know I am here for you girl! I know we grew up as best friends in high school but we were practically sisters… You do this stuff right with Nadja and we will BE ACTUAL FAMILY!!!”
Stephanie just shrugs her shoulders before she crosses her arms.
“I know you REALLY didn’t come to my house at this time in the morning just to tell me that you have plans to help me in my sexual and love life. Let’s not forget that I was the one that SLEPT with your husband back in the day and had a kid out of a one night stand. So I don’t need help with anything… At least I KNOW I DON’T… Anyway Christina you know I love you but I was in the middle of something and…”
Before Stephanie could finish her statement it’s at that moment where Nadja comes to the door wearing a robe as well.
“Who is it Stephanie?!”
Christina’s eyes open up as she is excited.
“Oh my God two weeks in and you already have this woman doing a walk of shame… You know what maybe you do have things under control Stephanie. I am sorry for ever doubting you…”
Stephanie rolls her eyes as she goes to shut the door.
“Christina… I think it’s time for you to go home…”
She goes to close the door on Christina but she quickly places a foot in the door with a grin.
“Wait!!!! You didn’t let me really explain myself. I am happy for you but I thought about things and I think I am going to come to MHW. I know you want to shine on your own but I just have this need to be right there with you. On top of that we have so much to talk about especially seeing as you are with my wife’s cousin!”
Stephanie sighs as she shakes her head.
“Look Nadja and I… Well… I don’t know if I am really with her yet… I was in the middle of asking her and…”
Stephanie looks at Nadja with a grin.
“So… Are we together?!”
Nadja just giggles in return as she keeps her eyes locked on Stephanie in return as we go elsewhere.
MHW how is it going… Just in case you might have forgotten I am indeed the scandalous one and on Throwdown I know everybody will be in for a major treat because all of you get to witness me competing once again. I know this company has been doing an amazing job of trying to hype me up and I appreciate that in more ways than anybody could even fathom. You have no idea how great it feels to actually be front and center, and for people to be focusing on my skills and abilities.
I know I had the chance of a lifetime to stand out and really position myself to challenge after the big championship but things just didn’t go my way. I have no issues in losing because you all should know the saying that Rome wasn’t built in a span of a night. No this journey is going to take some time for me to get to where I need to be. However for those who might not be accustomed to what I am about. The reality is my journey is only beginning.
I will push myself further and I will be where I need to be. One set back doesn’t mean anything and if anything losing just showcases the areas where I should be working on my skillset and shows me where I can improve. As far as I am concerned it’s hard to really take a step back when you are the unknown entity. When I fought Zombie a few weeks back I shocked the world. I made her tap out and I earned her respect. I showcased I am among the best submission based wrestlers in this company and you can expect so much more than me.
So my journey definitely continues, and it will be in such a good week because this week it seems I go from being in such a big time featured match to now being in the undercard.
Are you fucking kidding me?! Is that what this company thinks of me… I should always be at the top of the food chain. Just because there was a hiccup shouldn’t mean that all hope has been given up and I have regressed to this point. I personally find that to be a load of bullshit but if that’s how MHW wants to play it by all means it’s just going to be somebody’s funeral.
I mean did you all see at what I am up against this week?!
I am walking into a triple threat match and that alone pisses me off. That means I could lose this match without even being involved in the final decision. That is definitely lame but even though I should be stressing about that the reality is I know I am the best wrestler in this entire match!
Like let’s be real should I be worried about this guy named El Diablo who seems more like an idiot for being involved in backyard wrestling?!
I am sure he had done some stupid stunts that could have shaved years off of his career. He can be the white Devil which is what it is translated too but it doesn’t even phase me.
On the other end of the coin you have Talia who happens to be a woman who has actually accomplished things in various companies.
She represents Argentina and more precise a proud warrior of Mexico. It really doesn’t matter. She just hasn’t ran into me and when that bell sounds the two of them will be in for a major wakeup call.
I am the future of this business and at the end of Throwdown I will be onward to something bigger and better. That is a definite promise.
Anyway none of them are worth my time. See you losers soon buy this Scandalous one woll proudly dance her way to the top.
