The scene opens in a large field with a concert stage. Around the field, there are such attractions as a petting zoo, games with prizes to be won. A roller coaster in the background. Balloons and streamers everywhere. One by one, the field starts to be filled with Shieldmaidens and Chrome Dragons, easily fifty to sixty in all, all riding in on their Harley-Davidsons, including a few with passengers on the back. They form an aisle as they file in. Over the PA system, a voice can be heard. “Ladies and gentlemen, American Murder Log!” The whooping and hollering are on par with the sound of their revving bikes as Alissa Lacroix, Kelly Taylor, Zenna Zdunich, Katra Zdunich, Adriana Zdunich, and Linnea Lacroix walk out. They bow from the stage as they wave to everyone. Addy takes center stage for a minute before the band starts, holding her hand up. Adriana: “First of all, this has been a long time coming. With the pandemic, we haven’t had any real opportunities to get together in person. A lot of Zoom calls and video practices but tonight is the first night we’ve all been able to be together again. So, thank you all for coming out today.”The engines roar again as Addy puts her hand to her chest, smiling. Adriana: “My wife, Katra's wife, your sister, asked that we play her down here for her live podcast. So get loud, get crazy, let loose. This is as much for you as it is for her. Allow me to introduce… KRIGARE… EAVAN MALONEY!The band starts off with a raucous version of I'm So Sick as the crowd in attendance sings along. Randall Kash rides down the aisle on a custom three-wheeled Harley, with Eavan Maloney standing on the back, pumping her fists in the air to her family on stage. Eavan walks around to everyone in attendance, hugging everyone as the song continues. Adriana stops Eavan from coming up on stage right away. Adriana: "We have a little surprise for you. We thought this song you… well, both of you... would get a kick out of. This is for you, sir.” Katra and Zenna start with dueling guitars before Alissa and Kelly jump in on drums and bass respectively, as Addy dances around the ring, and Linnea gets the crowd fired up. Kash looks on with a big goofy grin on his face as everyone on stage breaks out in Randall Kash's old wrestling theme. I'm just a thorn in your side The disrespect in your eye I can't control myself I'm like a snake in your drain I'm takin' over your brain 'Cause I can't help myself
Every time I turn my head I can hear everything that's said I know they wish I'd go away
Here...I am...again. Hey now, hey now I'm the motherfucker of the year Here...I am...again. Hey now, hey now I'm the motherfucker of the year The crowd whoops it up, singing along with the chorus. Before going onstage, she hugs her father and places her head on his chest. We can see Randall telling her something but it's inaudible before Eavan walks onto the stage as the song is ending. Eavan hugs the band members and kisses both Adriana and Katra before Addy hands her her microphone before they leave the stage. They head over to where Kash is, and are given chairs to sit on. Krigare: “Fuck me. I didn't think I'd be up here about to break down and cry, but here we are. Eavan, pull it together now. We're here for a reason."One of the Prospects, Bobbi "Burnout" Layne brings out a couple of stools with a few bottles of water on one of them. Eavan paces around the stage like a caged panther. She looks down at her feet and takes a few breaths to calm herself down before coming back to center stage. Krigare: "Ladies and gentlemen, do not adjust your sets. Tonight, we have left the Island of Sanity and we are here doing Krigare Unleashed live in the middle of the fucking Shieldmaiden Compound!"The bikes rev again and Eavan smiles and nods. Krigare: "Thank you so much, my brothers and sisters, for coming out. Sadly I couldn't get everyone here on short notice, so I want to give a shout-out to the London Charter. And of course to our other sister, Titaness. Y'all better come home soon and visit sometime, yeah? That's a direct order from Lil' Titaness.I saw the Maguire Sisters with Bruiser and Hairicin over by the Bras d'Or beer tent, along with Killer, so if y'all want some refreshments, better make it quick. Hey, if someone can grab me a double of Jameson's on the rocks before we run out of that as well, I'd appreciate it.I know my blood brother Ryan is here, I saw him with Burnout earlier today. Hell, Burnout was just up here. My old modeling partner, and masseuse extraordinaire, Ravyn Lenore is here somewhere, probably snogging with Firefly. I kid, I kid… maybe.Katra, my Always? Adriana, my Forever? Thank you for sticking with me. Bringing me up when I bottom out. Putting up with this crazy ass and always being there when I needed a word to uplift me, a hug to dismantle me, a kiss to remind me I still matter. You two are like nobody I've ever known, and I love you more than I can express."The crowd cheers and revs their engines again as Addy and Nala return their I love yous back to Eavan. Eavan is handed a red Solo Cup by one of the Prospects, takes a sip, and holds the cup up to salute her audience. Eavan looks down and sees her father on his trike and smiles. Krigare: “Of course my father, Randall Kash, is here, and Dad? That intro? I didn't even know about it and Addy there can't normally keep a secret so this must have been something special for her. These past few weeks, you’ve done more than I could ask anybody to do. We got Mom into her new home just up the road. Hell, if we're loud enough, she'll probably hear us. WE LOVE YOU MOM! Obviously, you’ve been accepted and adopted by all of us. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, for us, not just recently, but throughout the years. I love you, Dad.”The engines get louder and the crowd gets louder. Kash can be seen wiping a tear from his eye as he bows to his daughter on stage. Kash: “Love ya too, Sprout!”Eavan shakes her head, knowing he called her that publicly on purpose. Her smile fades as she faces everyone, knowing the seriousness of what she was going to say next. Krigare: "So, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Is this my last ride? I announced a few weeks back on social media that on July 25th, if I could not beat Leah Aguero for the Mile High Ultimate Championship, I would retire from the world of professional wrestling for good. Originally, my end date was the end of October unless I was holding a title or in contention for one, but… y'all know me, I can be a bit of a hothead and well, I made that announcement so I'm going to stick with it. There's a lot of irons in the fire for me post-retirement, both as a Shieldmaiden and as CEO of Zdunich Records so it isn't like I'm going to be sitting on my ass doing nothing. Now, as you all know, for a minute, I truly considered it. Hell, I even told Robert Mack that he can fine me or fire me because he's going to need somebody new at the top of the mountain. I wasn't coming for the title anymore, I was coming for full evisceration. As I stand here in front of you right now, after conferring with my family, and some of you in attendance, I came to the realization that if we want change in Mile High, then the War Queen has to fall. So if anyone’s been banking on me retiring on that night, I got some bad news for you. They're going to have to carry me out of that ring on a stretcher or a damn body bag if they think they've seen the last of me!"The engines rev and the crowd cheers as Eavan takes a sip of her whiskey again before walking over to the stool and placing the cup down. Krigare: “Let’s talk about the other elephant in the room, and that is what some people call my inconsistency. They don’t know whether to cheer me or boo me. Management doesn’t know whether to invest in me, put my face on the posters and billboards. Can they say I’m a good guy or can they say I’m a bad guy. Thing is, people, I’m a whole lot of things. Hell, you can say I have more faces than Annie Tran.I’m a chameleon. I can be your friend or your worst enemy, and sometimes that can change at a drop of a hat. One thing you can bet on, though, is that I’m entertaining. I get noticed. I’m on everyone’s lips, whether I taste like sugar or poison. I’m a Warrior, but I choose my battles. THAT lesson took a long time to learn. I am Chaos personified, and if you can’t handle the storm, you will be swept away. THAT is who I am. Learn to love it.”The cheers intensify again before Eavan puts her hand up and laughs. Krigare: “Flipping the crowd in 3… 2… 1. Leah Aguero…"The crowd's cheers turn to boos at the mention of Leah's name. Eavan looks at the cameraman on the stage with her and shrugs. Krigare: "I think it's safe to say you've made a few enemies around here over the years, huh? Thing is, once upon a time, I was looking forward to this match. Despite everything I had said to get your goat since I walked in the door, I was going to come at you with the respect you cultivated for yourself… until this past ThrowDown."The crowd starts a Zombie chant and Eavan pauses for a minute, even turning her microphone to the crowd so they would be heard. Krigare: "Initially, when I heard of Wendy’s injury, I assumed it was an accidental shot from the lumberjacks. Fluke punch, unexpected injuries happen. And then I watched the match again. It did start with you. A deliberate kick to the skull to put her on the shelf.By any means necessary, huh?"The crowd continues their Zombie chant, even revving their engines to the same cadence. Eavan nods along before putting her hand up and holding a picture of Wendy, Lexa, and J. Krigare: "This is the Pellegrini Family. A beautiful wife. A sweet son. That child you see right there looks up to Wendy, his ZomMom, and he had to watch as Wendy was wheeled out of the arena. He had to hear Lexa's screams of despair when Harry and I broke the news. A broken orbital bone. A broken nose. A bruised larynx. It wasn't just cuts and bruises you left on her, Leah, you messed up her face. You caved it in. And I know you have no remorse because it’s all about you, isn’t it? Of course, it is. You're the War Queen, with all your little jesters you can use.By any means necessary, huh?”Eavan reaches into her back pocket and pulls out a rolled-up stack of papers that she opens and smacks with her other hand. Krigare: “Do you know how many hours I spent looking into your archives, Leah? All your Conviction matches in Oath. Your New Frontier run. And here at Mile High. And what I found is that I can set a watch by you because you do, and did, the same damn things in each place. Came in solo, got insecure, called in help, then discarded them when they were of no use to you anymore.Honestly, I expected company at Spectacular, so congratulations you managed to surprise me by having them come in two weeks early. Then I figured out WHY, and we'll come back to that a bit later. I mean, one could say it was… Inevitable. By the way, speaking of Inevitable, I never managed to get a hold of your match against Matsuda that was supposed to happen. A shame because I was rooting for Stephanie there but I digress.”Eavan rolls up the scroll, pulls out a lighter, and sets it on fire before tossing it off the stage just in front of her. The camera turns back to Eavan as a couple of Prospects are quick to make sure nothing catches fire and dispose of the scroll remnants. Krigare: “Let’s talk about The Coven, shall we? Now, unfortunately, I wasn’t around during that time… ok, I was kinda on the outside looking in. My only other appearance in a Mile High ring was long before you came around. I didn’t know you from a hole in the ground then, but unfortunately, the more I’ve learned about you lately, the less I wish I knew you. You’re straight-up trash, and a poor decision on my part to allow you, yes I said ALLOW YOU, to become Ultimate Champion.I liked your look, I liked your intensity. I bought the bullshit you were selling, and unfortunately, you turned out to be a bad investment. Hell, I should start calling you the Crypto Queen because all it takes is one person to inflate it and cash out, and the rest get swindled.”Eavan begins her caged panther pace again, as her rage starts to build within her, pulling her hair back as she walks back and forth briskly, before stopping and smirking right near the camera. Krigare: “I’ve had you scouted since I walked in the door this season. I told you, didn't know you then so I needed to know. I’d seen your lackluster stats as a solo performer and knew exactly how to manipulate you into showing your true colors. Get you insecure about your solo run, and you’ll call in help. The Inevitable. The Coven. The Second City Riot Squad. All, coincidentally, teams and stables that were made to try to take the Shieldmaidens, and future Shieldmaidens, out. The Inevitable and Samantha Hamilton. The Coven and The Shieldmaidens. The Riot Squad now with your feuds with Gallus Mag and The Purge. Guess maybe I should give a shout-out to my other sisters in Arsenal who the three of you know quite well as well.”Eavan looks at the camera again and cocks an eyebrow and bites her tongue as she smiles. Krigare: “Hey, at Black Magic, I’ll give you the rub, you guys succeeded, but where are they now, hmm? Actually, who got the win for that team, because it sure as fuck wasn't you. It was Gabriel, and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t a fan of that sonofabitch at the time. Now, though? Gabe and I are kinda cool with one another. Solomon Cain? Dead, or it could be what’s haunting Tyke Index. Fuck, for all we know, bad blow is what is haunting Tyke Index. Wasn’t it during our promo junket for the tag match where you insincerely apologized to Jansen? Hang on a second, I have your promo on my phone. I even have the clip in question…”Eavan pulls her phone out and starts flipping through it quickly before finding what she was looking for. She puts the microphone on her phone so everyone can hear it. ‘You see, while some of us continued to fight the good fight, our figure head chose to take that momentum and refocus it elsewhere. She became complacent with her position and it cost her dearly in the end. Sorry, Jansen. I still love ya but facts are facts.’ Eavan puts her phone away, shaking her head. The crowd is booing again as Eavan tries to quiet them down. Krigare: “Do you see where I’m going with this, Leah? I try not to dumb down what I have to say, but for you, I’ll make an exception. The ONLY reason The Inevitable were the success they were was because Matsuda was winning all your damn matches. Sorry, I take that back, you did get a pinfall win or two. Were there two? One against that one team during a kickoff show appearance after you lost the tag titles. The losses that YOU caused actually. A distraction here, a miscue there, you know exactly what I’m talking about, don’t you? My favorite one, though, was your tag title match against the Hell Realm. Matsuda doing exactly what she’s done all through your tag career. Carried your ass, had the match WON but someone… that’d be you, couldn’t be arsed to get out of the ring, costing your partner the win and the tag titles. And that’s where Matsuda suddenly started feeling like she couldn’t win anymore. Instead of being honest with her and saying you weren’t pulling your weight, you led her to believe she was the weak one of The Inevitable. Yeah, yeah, I know your rebuttal. I’ll get to that in a damn minute. The ONLY reason The Coven got any traction was because of Jansen Myrrh and Gabriel Ohio, and as much as that time still brings back some painful memories, I can respect them. See, I like a good heel. They can get creative. They can call it like it is and back it up. Hell, to call up a few other names from New Frontier, I’m friends with Marilyn and Jasmine Mathews. Now them? They’re great heels. You? You’re just a whiny priss who threw a few tantrums because you weren’t getting the attention you felt you deserved.I mean, some would say I've done the same, right? However, I did it better. You're a knockoff. And you get to face somebody like me. Somebody who is too much of a bitch to be a good guy. Too much of a heart to be a bad guy, and just the right amount of crazy to get my hands dirty and make a bitch bleed if I so choose to.”Eavan gets up close to the camera and blows it a kiss, before flipping it off with the words ‘F U Leah’ written on her middle finger. “Try to keep up, Junior. So, question? How long until you turn on the Riot Squad? Will it be after you cost them the trios titles, and they get frustrated with you? Will it be when they realize that you’re the one member of the team they don’t need, and you’ll get defensive? I mean, we all know it’ll happen sooner or later. So, to you Jed Coffey, and you, Layla Diaz, I offer this. I have nothing against the two of you, you were doing your jobs, but I would cut bait and run. I’ve seen the shit she throws at you in NFW, making herself the Queenpin of your group. You don’t need her, you’re better than that and you’re better than her. I can’t speak for Wendy and Katrina, but I understand why you were there that night. I understand what you were brought in to do. I understand how you were conned and convinced that we were the bad guys. Look at what she’s done already in her career. The betrayals, the backstabbing, smacking the two of you around, and ask yourselves if it’s worth it.``Eavan looks out to Kash who gives her a thumbs up, and Eavan looks up to the sky for a minute, before twisting her neck to each side. Krigare: “By any means necessary, that’s your motto, right? I even know how you’d define it. You’re willing to use anyone you want to, to get ahead of another. To say anything else would be a lie, Leah, because we’ve all seen it. You've done it your whole career. And then you had the balls to say to me on social media recently you’ve done everything by yourself. Now, either you were hoping I was too stupid to see how full of shit you are… or, and wait for it, you don’t realize how I got myself into this match. Let me break it down for you. You see, when Mile High started up again, we were missing some big stars. Jansen Myrrh, your…”Eavan uses finger quotes. Krigare: “...best friend, and Skrabz. Now I’ll admit, I didn’t reach out to Jansen. I figured she was busy, had her own thing going, so I called out Skrabz. Our little five-way dance at the first ThrowDown? I took out the one everybody banked on to win the match in Azurine Vebbins. You took me out, you took out Sullivan, and in one night, I turned you from a pretender to a contender. When it ended up you and Bullet for the Ultimate Championship, I’ll admit, I thought my plan would backfire. It isn’t like I’m going to bet against one of my own. And surprise surprise, you beat Alejandra and got the gold. And I waited…”Eavan begins to pace again, tapping her temple as she looks down at the ground again. Krigare: “...and I watched to see what you would do. You had a non-title fluff match against El Diablo Blanco, which after seeing that match, I started to see that I made a mistake choosing you. You started to get a bit too big for your britches, and the second Mack teamed you and Skrabz together, I started to see the cracks in the armor. You needed Skrabz to beat me down so you could get the win. I mean… at least it’s a step up from your days in The Inevitable? At least you didn’t hang back and let your partner do all the work… oh wait, you kinda did.And here we come back around full-circle and what you did to my sister, Wendy. What you TRIED to do to me.”The boos are deafening again as Eavan has led her audience through the tale. Krigare: “Your Runt Squad tried not once, but twice, to take me out. They didn’t succeed because here I am and the match is still on. And I wondered why you’d have your goons try to take me out now. Weeks before our match. That’s what drew me to look for patterns. Looking for weaknesses. And it all became very clear. You’re afraid of me.You’re afraid because I proved when I want something, when I decide I need to prove a point, I can do it. The shot at the Ultimate Championship. Making Tyke Index tap out. Beating Azurine Vebbins out of the gate in my debut match. Key wins that didn’t put me in your way, it put you in mine. You’ve done nothing since winning that title, so now it’s time for you to stop being a placeholder. At Spectacular Three, this isn’t just a match for the title. This isn’t just me wanting to keep my job. No. This IS a war, a war you cannot, and will not, win. You are far from a War Queen. You’re a stupid girl with a plastic crown and delusions of grandeur. And when I’ve torn down Ball Arena, leaving your broken carcass in the center of the ring, I will hold the championship high above my head as a call of a new era in Mile High Wrestling. An era of respect. An era of family. The Era of the Ultimate WARRIOR!”Before Eavan could continue, the crowd cheers loudly as Katrina “Hairicin” Knox walks out on stage and taps Eavan on the shoulder, before extending her fist in solidarity. Eavan extends hers as the crowd cheers even louder as a bandaged and crutched Wendy “Zombie” Pellegrini comes out, along with Lexa Pellegrini, Aoife “Banshee” Knox, and a new woman Eavan did not recognize but had to be impressed by the woman’s shockingly pink hair. The woman asks Eavan for the microphone, and Eavan points to a second microphone on a stand a few feet away. Woman: “I’m sorry to arrive unannounced like I have, by my name is Una Quinn, and I’ve been hired by your sister Zombie to be her voice going forward. First of all, I want to thank you, Eavan, for taking up the torch to fight both for Wendy’s honor, and your own. I had heard about your desire to retire, and if you’ll forgive my bluntness, I think it was a cry for attention, a plea of frustration, and perhaps a moment of seeing yourself as inferior.”Eavan nods to this. Eavan: “Una, was it? Thank you for those kind words, and yeah, absolutely right at the time. And yes, priorities, changed recently. Leah is known for taking tokens from her opponents, and I look at what happened to Z there as the token she took from me. All of this made me realize how selfish I’d been. Not just recently, you can go over my entire career and see moments and decisions that were made that were for my benefit over anyone else’s. I own that. This time, and probably even for the last time, it was time I did something for somebody else. So this match is for you, Wendy. All of this is for you.”Wendy hugs Eavan, protecting her face as much as possible as her bandages start to get wet from Wendy’s tears. Una nods to Eavan and extends her hand to shake Eavan’s, and Eavan obliges her. Eavan: “Let’s finish this here so we can get back to celebrating. Papa. Uniform. Romeo. Golf. Echo. Purge. Let’s show Aguero and the Riot Squad how we protect our own.” Wendy extends her fist, followed by Hairicin, followed by Eavan. Eavan looks to her partners and smiles before they all look into the camera. Una: “By Any.” Hairicin: “Means.” Krigare: “Necessary.”Eavan is about to drop the mic before remembering it was Adriana’s she was using, puts the microphone in her back pocket, and raises her right fist in the air. The Maidens, the Chrome Dragons, and everyone else does the same with her. Eavan smirks again as she pulls out the microphone again. Krigare: “Let’s bring up American Murder Log and Adriana Zdunich again. I had my time in the spotlight today, tonight it’s theirs.”As the members all come up on stage again, Eavan and Adriana share a hug and kiss before Eavan hands the microphone back. Eavan runs over to Katra and steals a kiss before Katra gears up with her signature Ibanez. Eavan runs off stage quickly and sits with her father as Linnea counts them off and into The Warrior as the scene fades to black.

”The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.” -Sun Tuzla, The Art of War
“Unless we’re talking about Eavan Maloney. I’m going to destroy that bitch.” -Leah Aguero
The scene opens up just outside of the Aguero residence. The War Queen Leah Aguero exits a red Tesla Model S and begins making her way up the front walk towards the house. The camera closes in tight and follows just over her shoulder as she approaches and steps through the front door. The Aguero house is more alive than it has been in awhile. The whole family is under one roof. Leah looks around, taking in the sights and sounds for a moment before making her way down the hall towards the kitchen. As she enters, Leah can hear her protege, Layla Diaz, talking.
Layla Diaz: I tellin’ yous, girl. Splat done finally got sum one dat can actually act on one dem shows. Tell me yous saw dat sneak ah Madison Tower. Dat ish wuz on point an why? Cuz I’ma up in dat bish. Fa realz. I’ma make dat show send da ratins tru da roof.
A smirk comes across The War Queen’s face as she sees Diaz gloating about her role as a dead girl in the upcoming Splat series, Madison Tower. All the more amusing is that Diaz is gloating about it to Leah’s sister, Q, who looks none too entertained as she stands cross-armed, staring out into nothing. Leah and Q lock eyes for only a moment as Q rolls her eyes at her sister. Leah passes through the kitchen but she can still hear Diaz in the background.
Layla Diaz: Yous wuz in a Splat show too, right? One a dem DC shows a sumtin? Mus not a been too memorable. I know mah gurl, Leah, was dat ice queen chick in a series too but she ain’t inta all dat actin’ stuff. Now, me? I guess I’ma jus a natural. Da only ting I didn’t care fah wuz da fact I needed ta keep dyin’ mah hair. Do yous know how many red Kool-Aid packets it takes ta get it dis red again?
The sound of Diaz’s arrogance slowly fades out as Leah opens the door to her basement and begins to descend down the steps. The sound of weights clanking together gets louder and louder as The War Queen reaches the bottom step and sees Jed Coffey spotting her husband, Jay Aguero, as he benches the barbell.
Jed Coffey: Noice. You go this, Bro. You’re getting swole. You’re no boosh. Smash dem gorillas. You know what to do with those weights. Schmucks up, schmucks down. All the way, Bro. Don’t worry. Mighty J’s got you.
Jay resets the bar and sits up on the bench. Jed steps away to another area of the room. As Leah makes her way over to her husband, Jay reaches for his ears and takes his PowerBeats headphones out. Leah bends over slightly to give Jay a kiss on the forehead.
Jay Aguero: Where’d you find this guy? He won’t shut up. I’ve got headphones in. They aren’t even on. I just want him to get the hint that I don’t need him talking to me. Noise cancelling my ass. Sounds even worse muffled. And what the hell is a boosh?
Leah doesn’t even respond. She runs her fingers through Jay’s short cut hair and then down to his chin. She shoots him a smile before leaving the gym and into her “office”. As she enters the room, her throne is already set for her. Jed Coffey, having fetched her necklace of mementos she has collected over the course of the last few weeks, is already waiting for her. The War Queen approaches the throne and takes a seat. Lifting her hair up, Jed places the necklace around her neck and clasps it together. Leah drops her hair and leans back into the throne, staring directly into the camera as she runs her fingers through her latest addition; a piece of Eavan Maloney’s hair. Jed Coffey returns with a podium that has the MHW Ultimate Title encased in glass, set atop it. He then disappears out of the shot.
Leah Aguero: Always remember, there are few things in life that are inevitable but one of them is that I will get what I want by any means necessary.
The War Queen continues to twirl her index finger around the bleach blonde tuft of hair.
Leah Aguero: There’s no one safe when it comes to paying the piper and Eavan Maloney learned that first hand two weeks ago at ThrowDown. I came to collect my prize and, well, I got what I wanted. I warned you, Maloney. I warned all of Mile High Wrestling that my kingdom was growing. This was only the beginning. We shall continue to rise and more shall join the ranks. Now, I’m no vindictive dictator that will force any of you to join unwillingly. No, instead, I am a reasonable woman. You either accept your fate in life and bow before your Queen or the body count will continue to rise. You’re either with me or against me. The choice is in your hands.
Leah leans back on her throne, crossing her legs in front of her.
Leah Aguero: Wendy knew this. She knew this for a long time now. The choice was hers. Unfortunately, she made her choice several weeks back when she decided to get involved in our matters. You see, I was out there amongst the masses setting forth my declaration of the era of the War Queen Empire. There I was, minding my own business, when the Purge decided they would do the bidding of a false prophet. Instead of falling in line, they opted to enable the fractured state of Eavan Maloney’s ego. They provided a distraction so that the false prophet could attempt to take out the Queen. I could not stand for this.
The War Queen uncrosses her legs and leans forward, resting her elbows on her knees and clasping her hands together as she stares into the camera.
Leah Aguero: An example had to be made. Contrary to what the Shieldmaiden narrative would like you to believe, The War Queen handles her affairs in a just and righteous fashion. I do not require others to aid me in my ascension to the top. I’ve already arrived on my mountain top all on my own accord. It is the Shieldmaiden mentality that thinks there is strength in numbers but it isn’t the quantity that brings you to the pinnacle but the quality. Two weeks ago, at ThrowDown, I made an example of Wendy Pelligrini. She was paying for her own actions, not those of the false prophet. Wendy acted out of her own transgressions and the results were catastrophic unto herself. Miss Pelligrini will never be the same after our encounter.
Leaning back again, Leah crosses her right foot over her left knee and dusts off her boot.
Leah Aguero: Wendy Pelligrini should consider herself lucky that I only gave her a cracked orbital bone. She is already aiming for a return to the ring in four to six weeks time, further proving what a fool she is. That time period heals the damage done for everyday use; not for combat sports. She will still be weak upon her return. She will still have a target. She will still be damaged goods. Thankfully, I don’t need to wait six weeks to attain my prize from her. This one, actually, means quite a bit to me.
The War Queen snaps her fingers and Jed Coffey reappears. He hands her a vial and waves to the camera before stepping away. Leah holds the vial up in the air, eyeballing it.
Leah Aguero: After ThrowDown, I knew Wendy would become untouchable. I do my work within the confines of the squared circle and I was far too anxious to collect my prize by waiting four to six weeks. So Jed took my boot and noticed when I cracked Wendy with The Endgame, there was a bit of blood residue left behind.
A smile comes across the face of The War Queen as she shakes the vial of Wendy’s blood in front of the camera. She then reaches down to her necklace and attaches the vial to her collection of mementos.
Leah Aguero: Another one bites the dust. Eavan Maloney, further fueling her own self absorbed ego, threw a party in “Wendy’s honor”. Let’s be realistic for a moment. This whole charade was nothing more than a means to put herself at the forefront of everyone’s attention. She wanted to attack me. She went so far as to bring up Wendy Pelligrini’s family; including her own son. What sort of heinous person would further torture a child in efforts to get those around them to despite their queen. A desperate person that is.
A sinister glare casts across Leah’s face as a grin stretches from ear to ear.
Leah Aguero: When Wendy’s son looks up at his mother, he will forever be reminded of the actions that took place this past ThrowDown. It will serve as a constant reminder that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Young J will look up at his mother asking, “Mommy, what sort of monster did that to your face?” Well, I am the one that carries that answer for her child. I’m the monster, J. I’m the monster that permanently disfigured your mother’s face. Let that be a lesson to you. Your mother was not a good woman. She may have been a good mother to you but when she stepped out that door every other week she showed her true colors as a human and she suffered the consequences of her actions. The same will be said as to another individual you know so dearly; Eavan Maloney.
Leaning back in the throne once again, Leah crosses her fingers together in front of her as her elbows rest on either arm of the throne.
Leah Aguero: You certainly are something aren’t you, Eavan? A wrestler. A podcaster. A model. A record executive? Delusional. Neurotic. Pretentious. Senile. Unrealistic. Hot-headed. Manipulative. And yet in some circles I’m considered the sociopath? When Mile High Wrestling’s doors reopened you were pegged to be the face of the company. The hottest prospect to join the organization. Don’t fool yourself with some silly little survey filled out by a bunch of pissant little fans that like to hop aboard the Azurine Vebbins Express. You were the one that was marked for the posters. Everywhere I looked, marketing material boasted Eavan “Krigare” Maloney main eventing the return of Mile High Wrestling. Then, the day came and you suffered defeat. Fast forward two weeks later and you’re calling out Skrabal Stanzas. Your delusional mind forced you in an attempt to save face to call out the most dominating MHW Ultimate Champion in Mile High history not known as The War Queen Leah Aguero and, again, you suffer a humiliating defeat. Two weeks later you FINALLY get your first win in MHW… by throwing someone over the top rope.
The War Queen shakes her head back and forth in disappointment.
Leah Aguero: That senile brain of yours begins to inflate your ego once more because somehow you’ve become the number one contender to the MHW Ultimate Title; MY title. Two weeks after that you team with your compadre, Alejandra Carbajal, to take on Skrabz and myself. Again, you suffer defeat at my hands. When does it get to be too much, Eavan? When do the delusions of grandeur stop. Clearly, things began to change. You started becoming unglued. You had already announced to the world that you would retire from wrestling later this year should you not be a champion or be in contention for a title. If that wasn’t a spoiled brat tantrum as it was, that brain of yours, having already suffered defeat after defeat said ‘fuck it’. If you couldn’t beat me at Mile High Spectacular III then what’s the point of sticking around. If you couldn’t beat me, Mile High Spectacular III would be your last match.
Again, Leah shakes her head in disappointment.
Leah Aguero: You were spiraling. You were hot-headed. You demeaned the fans that came out and cheered you at each and every ThrowDown no matter how many times you lost. I know a strong will when I see it and, Eavan, you don’t have it. You are weak willed and you don’t belong in the main event of Mile High Spectacular III. Up until last week your only win in the entire history of MHW was a battle royal. Your other win was against a fucking junkie that’s being terrorized by The Geist.
The War Queen pauses to give Eavan Maloney a golf clap.
Leah Aguero: So what now, Eavan? That Shieldmaiden hype gets in your brain and you think you can change things? You think all of a sudden, after already suffering defeat at my hands on two separate occasions, you’re going to all of a sudden have the fortitude to match me? Or was it because I broke your little friend’s face? This won’t just be Mile High Spectacular III just because it’s the third installment. It’s also going to be the third time my hand is raised against you.
The War Queen once again leans forward and points directly at the camera.
Leah Aguero: You’re trying to put up a big game but I see right through you, Eavan. You’re scared. You’re desperate. You think you may have just made the biggest mistake of your life saying that you would retire early should you not defeat me. The truth is, you’re right. This is single handedly the biggest mistake you have ever made. You think watching some footage from NFW teaches you about me? You think reviewing content from OATH gets you any closer to knowing my inner workings? Fuck, Eavan. You’re even dumber than I thought you were. What about my time in Elysium? What about my time in that rink a dink strip mall federation? Your girl Carter could tell you more about that place. What about the UWF where I got my start? The reality is, it doesn’t matter what footage you watch. Your neurotic brain is just going to attempt to spin the situation in your favor. I’ve never hidden behind the fact that I have used people to get my opportunities. Once in that ring, however, my work does the talking. Your Shieldmaiden sisters will tell you that Jansen Myrrh and Gabriel Ohio headed Coven but the facts are the facts. Jansen and I spearheaded the idea for Coven together. Your Shieldmaiden sisters will tell you that I brought the Second City Riot Squad into NFW to get somewhere. Bitch, I am the SCRS. The truth is Lara Bratton brought me in to make an impact and that’s exactly what we did. SCRS was undefeated for almost a year in tag team competition. Your Shieldmaiden sisters will tell you that my cuz, Stephanie Matsuda, carried The Inevitable in OATH. The truth is blood ran that team. Steph and I ran that tag team division TOGETHER until I was ready to move on to bigger and brighter things. You know not what you speak of and you fall into the same twisted mindset many of your Shieldmaiden sisters do. You attempt to write your own narrative but the reality is a much different situation. Just because you put it in a podcast doesn’t make it real. What’s next? You going to post it on Facebook, then all 9,623 Shieldmaidens will share it and make it facts? There is really but one truth in this entire situation and it’s this. You can watch all the footage of me in the world. It’s not going to help you. Since day one I have spoken one phrase that echoes my sentiment to this day. You stay complacent, you’ll get nowhere. Watch all the footage you want, I’m already ten steps ahead of you.
The War Queen leans back in the throne and throws her feet up over one of the arm rests.
Leah Aguero: You’re done after Mile High Spectacular III you little shit. Maybe if your fingers weren’t in thirty different pies at the same time you could actually focus on the sport you’re about to walk away from. This is the era of the War Queen. My Empire will know no bounds. Meanwhile, your supposed Warrior mentality will leave you walking out of the arena as the ending to the Hulk tv series plays in the background. Pathetic. You call yourself a warrior. Shouldn’t put it past the lot of you to try to come across tough. Did you pick your own Shieldmaiden name or did someone else name you. Krigare. Is that what you are or what you wish you were? They’re all the same. Bullet. Zombie. Psycho. Killer. Bruiser. Okay, maybe I’ll give Bruiser a little credit. Bex at least lives up to her name a bit. You’re no warrior, Eavan. This is a war that has already been won. You see, the victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win. Which one of those warriors do you think you are? I’d say you’re the latter.
Leah stands up from her throne and places a hand on the glass enclosure the MHW Ultimate Title sits in.
Leah Aguero: You have yet to show that Ultimate Warrior mentality, Eavan. I hope you bring some of that supposed hurt to Mile High Spectacular III because I long to feel something. Anything. I want the pain. It only entices me. Just ask Sosh. She’s inflicted pain upon me before and felt the retaliation. I would say to just take the night off and kneel before me in that ring as you kiss my boot but you’re too stubborn and hard headed. I’m going to have a great deal of fun this Sunday. Don’t worry. It won’t be quick and painless. It will be slow. It will be torturous. You will learn that you should have retired from pro wrestling before this match even occurs. You could have gone out on top beating that junkie, Tyke Index. Instead, you will be another body piled up at my feet. I’m the one that’s willing to get the win BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY, Eavan. It’s not just some play on words. This Sunday at Mile High Spectacular III you will lose. You will retire. You will kiss my boot and I, your Queen, will stand victorious STILL your MHW Ultimate Champion. No one has been able to defeat me since Mile High Wrestling since its return. What makes you think you can do it now, with everything on the line? Kneel Before Me, for I am your Queen, The War Queen Leah Aguero.
Slowly, the rest of The War Queen’s Empire circles around in the background. Jed Coffey, Layla Diaz, Ya Girl Q and Jay Aguero. Leah looks around at her family and then back at the camera.
Leah Aguero: You are dismissed.
The War Queen snaps her fingers and the footage cuts to black.
