Entrance Music: Redneck Stomp by Obituary
Entrance Description: The lights in the arena go out and the sound effect of thunder echoes throughout the arena as the entranceway and ring are illuminated in a neon blue light. Redneck Stomp by Obituary then hits. Ripley walks out onto the stage wearing a black and blue unbuttoned plaid shirt, black wrestling tights, and black boots. He stands at the top of the entrance ramp for a moment while looking around at the fans then heads for the ring. As he makes his way down the aisle to the ring he takes time to slap the hands of a few fans. Once he reaches the ring he stops and looks at it then quickly walks up the steel steps and enters the ring. In the ring Ripley paces around then climbs up in one of the corners of the ring to look out at all of the fans, he points to a few fans as the crowd continues to cheer. He then hops down, takes off his shirt and tosses it to ringside before squatting down in one of the corners of the ring as his music fades out and the lights return to normal.
(If on good terms with his opponent he can be seen mouthing words of encouragement while squatting in the corner. If on bad terms he’ll just stare at them or sometimes shout at them trying to make them mad.)
Short Bio: Ripley got his start in professional wrestling due to being in the right place at the right time and in 2011, after a couple of years in tiny promotions, he made it to the national scene and hasn’t looked back. He found success rather quickly due to his strong determination to prove himself and is constantly looking for the next big challenge.
Outside of the ring he tends to keep to himself. Even though he’s mostly a loner he’s become friends with several wrestlers during his career and is very loyal to them.
In the ring he gives his opponents everything he has and tends to make even the simplest matches into something a bit extreme. Once the bell rings it’s almost like he transforms into a wild animal. Despite his tendencies to push the limits of the match he’s in he has a strict code of fighting by the rules. He also values respect and has even come to respect opponents that he may not like personally but likes their efforts in the ring. The harder his opponent fights the higher the chances he’ll end up respecting them. He also seeks to earn the respect of others but isn’t bothered if he doesn’t.
