The Time had come for a video meet up of the Shieldmaiden Presidents. There had been several pieces of business on the agenda and now the five of them, Mount Diablo’s Frances “Fenris” Sanders, Kill Devil Hills’ Rafaella “Shiloh” Anderson, London’s Ophelia “Widow” Jackson, and Dallas’s Sawyer all appeared on video screens to New Orleans’ Alex “Bullet” Carbajal as she nodded to them all. This is how they always went, so everyone was in their usual, mostly jovial mood except for Sawyer, who was always less than jovial as a rule. It was just something that was understood about her.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: How is the rebuild going?

Fenris shrugs.

Francis "Fenris" Sanders: Pretty well, insurance decided to pay off. Investigation called it an electrical fault and nobody argued with the guy. It wasn’t a great payout anyway since the building was old and not really worth much before it got turned to ashes. Cops are busy with other shit anyway.

Sawyer crosses her arms, somehow looking even less happy to be engaging with other people than she already did.

Sawyer Fuckin’ cops…

Shiloh almost has a giggle fit at the resentment in the Dallas President’s voice.

Rafaella "Shiloh" Anderson: We all know how much you love cops, Sawyer!

After remaining silent for what felt like ages, Widow finally speaks up.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: You saying she’s wrong?

Shiloh just grins.

Rafaella "Shiloh" Anderson: No, Wid, just that we know how much Sawyer hates people in general and that the only thing she likes better than pissing on cops is bitching about how much she has to do it!

While the others all smirk in amusement, Sawyer is visibly unimpressed.

Sawyer Ain’t my fault the cops in the boonies there in Carolina don’t give two shits about anything but that damned monster truck!

Widow only manages an annoyed shrug.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: Police in bigger cities are always more of a concern. It’s why me and Sawyer have to do twice as much work!

Bullet nods knowingly.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: You also have P & P to do things for you, especially while pregnant.

Widow shifts in her seat.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: Don’t fuckin’ remind me!

Bullet smiles as do Shiloh, Fenris and Sawyer.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: Can you imagine CJ with a little girl this time?

Widow manages a small smile.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: He won’t know what to do with himself, just like last time. He was so happy but so nervous. It was cute…

Bullet can’t help but smile.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: I see that!

Widow starts to frown but Fenris nods her agreement.

Francis "Fenris" Sanders: I detect a grin there too, Wid!

Shiloh allows herself a momentary snicker.

Rafaella "Shiloh" Anderson: I saw it too!

Sawyer shrugs.

Sawyer You make a guy like that stumble around like a drunken idiot, of course she’s gonna grin. She probably had that poor bastard stammering like a schoolboy who don’t know which girls have the worst cooties and loved every fuckin’ second of it!

Widow ponders this for a second and then nods in acknowledgement.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: Yes… yes I did.

The other Presidents all clap.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: ¡Qué chimba!

Shiloh shakes her head in near awe.

Rafaella "Shiloh" Anderson: That’s darlin’!

Fenris just smiles.

Francis "Fenris" Sanders: Yes it is.

Sawyer shrugs.

Sawyer You might even melt my heart.

Widow shoots Sawyer a look of complete skepticism.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: Let’s not get crazy here, Sawyer. Ain’t nothing will melt you!

Bullet starts to laugh and the others all look at her.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: What’s so funny?

Bullet starts to shake her head.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: Nada, nada…

Shiloh and Fenris both look at her with the same skepticism that Widow just gave Sawyer.

Rafaella "Shiloh" Anderson: That ain’t look like “nothin’”!

Francis "Fenris" Sanders: No it does not.

Bullet raises a hand.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: Es nada…

Now it’s Widow's turn to cross her arms.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: Alejandra Mariana Carbajal!

Sawyer shakes her head.

Sawyer Damn… she just went full Robi on her…

Bullet shrugs, smirking.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: I think our ice queen might have finally seen a heat source…

Fenris audibly gaps.

Francis "Fenris" Sanders: No fucking way…

Shiloh cocks her head, curiosity clearly taking over her.

Rafaella "Shiloh" Anderson: She… what?

Sawyer raises her own hands up.

Sawyer Guys… really… it ain’t nothin to get worked up about…

Widow’s jaw drops.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: Oh my God, she did!

Sawyer’s head droops.

Sawyer Shit…

Bullet snickers.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: Maybe next meeting, she even tells you who…

Shiloh laughs.

Rafaella "Shiloh" Anderson: Damn well better!

Fenris nods her agreement.

Francis "Fenris" Sanders: Damn right!

Widow just smiles.

Ophelia "Widow" Jackson: This is gonna be fun.

Hearing the tone in the London Charter President’s voice, Sawyer just shakes her head.

Sawyer God fuckin’ dammit…

Bullet grins.

Alex "Bullet" Carbajal: See you guys next week.
