Lacey Williams couldn't be happier. She's won her first two matches in MHW, and it means the world to her. On the AMMO right before Black Magic, she will be fighting Jackie Layton, and obviously she's aiming for the win there too.
Lacey is sitting on a living chair today and in the backround her daughter is doing a coloring page in a Paw Patrol coloring book.
"I'm so happy that I won my first two matches in MHW and I hope that I will win my last. I really wish I could have achieved more in MHW. Now I guess I'm back to working at the gas station. But it was worth a try. And I always have my parents' house to move into."
Lacey gives a frown that she is trying to hold back.
"But it's not Robert Mack's fault, and don't take it that way, please. I wouldn't be having financial struggles right now if it wasn't for the guy that left me with a newborn baby and barely any money 5 years ago. So it isn't Robert Mack's fault. In fact, I am so grateful to Robert Mack for allowing me to showcase my talent and to make at least a bit of money for my family. So thank you."
Lacey Williams smiles.
"And now for my opponent, Bandit. This time I actually am fighting a Shieldmaiden, and this one might be a little bit more difficult to get past. Jackie, you are so talented, but I have to admit that I know your weakness. I've said before that I know that you Shieldmaidens lack passion for anything. You put no heart into anything you do, and you certainly put no soul into anything either."
Lacey shakes her head.
"The things that Reina said about in her promo two weeks ago were completely rude and unthoughtful. Sure, she isn't a Shieldmaiden, but she is a friend of some of your fellow Shieldmaidens, maybe even a friend of you. "
Lacey looks behind her at her daughter, who is coloring away with her tongue sticking out.
"The difference between me and you, Jackie, is that I fight for my daughter, you fight for yourself, you fight because of grudges. I don't hold any grudges, and I have all the respect for you Jackie. You are very talented. But when you step in the ring with people you think you can beat easy, it's like you don't even try."
Lacey nods.
"That shows that you don't care about anyone, and neither do your fellow Shieldmaidens. But watch out, because you might be surprised. I won't be surprised if you don't take me seriously in the ring on AMMO. And I'm just warning you, don't do that. Because I will beat you, no doubt, if you act like that."
Lacey smiles.
"Also, that makes me angry that you would show such disrespect towards me, and I might really hurt you."
Linda comes up and shows her mommy her picture.
"Oh, I love it."
Linda smiles.
"I'm gonna color Skye next."
She goes back to the table and continues coloring. Lacey thinks a moment before speaking again.
"I'll see you on Sunday, Jackie. Good luck, and may the best woman win."
The promo ends with Lacey walking to the table to watch her daughter color.
