"Tattle Tail" Candi BrattonΒ© vs Skrabz
(Candi Bratton and Skrabz are arguably the two best trash talkers in Mile High Wrestling. On the very first episode of Mile High Wrestling, every superstar on the roster had a match except Skrabz. Unfortunately Skrabz had to finish up some business back home in England, and unfortunately on the night of the event it was announced that every winner on the show would be one step closer to becoming the first champion. Therefore Skrabz missed out on that opportunity. On the third episode, Candi Bratton would become the Mile High Wrestling Champion. By the eighth episode, Skrabz had more victories than any other superstar. And the only loss on his record was in a match where he teamed up with Candi Bratton, and it was Bratton who got pinned. Both of these superstars have superstar quality. They shine bright. They stand out. And at The Rise In Phoenix, only one can walk out with the championship...)
"Pretty" Ricky Stanton vs Forge
(When Forge responded to a young female wrestler's tweet, calling her "entitled", Ricky Stanton stood up for her, and a Twitter war began. This led to the CEO of Stanton Enterprises showing up on an episode of Mile High Wrestling. A fight would surely break out, and Forge would come out on top. Since then Stanton has seemed to keep his distance. Some say it's because he's scared, some believe it's because he doesn't take Forge serious. All we do know is that the two have agreed to battle inside a Steel Cage at The Rise In Phoenix. Who will come out on top?)
Deuce Holmes & Snakebite vs Tyke Index & Lance Mikes
(When Snakebite left HcW to solely focus on running Mile High Wrestling, no one ever expected HcW to get involved with anything that had to do with the Denver based company. Especially after the real life issues between Robert Mack and Lance Mikes. Yet here was Lance Mikes attacking Robert Mack on his own show during an interview with HcW World Heavyweight Champion Tyke Index. With a falling out between Deuce Holmes and HcW also fueling the war, it only made sense when this Tag Team Match was made official. Somewhat. Cause no one could ever imagine the two companies agreeing to co-promote each other's brands in any capacity. Is this war really about Mile High Wrestling vs HcW, or is it about Snkebite vs Lance Mikes?)
Robi Jean Mitchell vs "Universal Superstar" Anaquin Adams
(One would have assumed that Robi Jean Mitchell was going to have a match at The Rise In Phoenix. She was the leader of The Shieldmaidens. She was undefeated. She was making impact after impact. She was rising to the top. The only question was 'Who was she going to face?' When "Universal Superstar" Anaquin Adams revealed that she wanted to fight high quality superstars all over the world, "the God's" told her that RJ Mitchell was one of those stars. Thus, Anaquin Adams showed up on an episode of Mile High Wrestling and challenged the President of The Shieldmaidens. And of coarse the challenge was accepted...)
Samantha "The Titaness" Hamilton vs Alex "Bullet" Carbajal
(Eight superstars were selected to fight in a single elimination tournament, where the final two would battle in a Ladder Match that would crown the inaugural Mile High Wrestling Phoenix Champion. Bullet would defeat "Desert Rose" Anya and "The Party Boy" Chris Mosh to get to the Ladder Match, while The Titaness would defeat only Azurine Vebbins, as her Round Two opponent would end up injured before their bout. Therefore Sam was able to advance by default. The question now is which of the two superstars will go down in history as the first Phoenix Champion?)
The Shieldmaidens vs Rose Colored Lasses
(It was originally announced that the first eight tag teams to sign up would get a chance at the Tag Team belts. The Shieldmaidens were the only ones who signed up. When Robert Mack was able to get at least three more tag teams afterall, Forge and RJ Mitchell tore through them before they even got the chance. We were just simply left wondering what was going to happen with the Tag Titles. Then, after both Anya and Azurine lost their Round Two matches in the Phoenix Title Tournament, Robert Mack suggested they deserved a special spot on The Rise In Phoenix card regardless. After issues before with The Shieldmaidens, the idea just seemed to make sense. Thus this match was made. So now, who will walk out the inaugural Mile High Wrestling Tag Team Champions?)
"The Party Boy" Chris Mosh vs Wavy Crockett
(Wavy Crockett has stirred up a lot of shit since the first episode of Mile High Wrestling. Making fun of superstars, suggesting intimate relationships with female superstars. But the one man who responded to Wavy himself was "The Party Boy" Chris Mosh. Mosh would go on to make the PPV challenge, and Wavy would later accept. Robert and Katrina Mack were unsure about allowing Wavy Crockett to step in the ring, but with the excitement from the fans, Robert drew up a contract. Now the match WILL happen.)
