(The scene opens with Kaito Jackson wrapping his hands. He’s looking down at the floor in front of his locker as “The Viper” Johnny Knight walks in.)
KJ: This isn’t really going exactly the way I thought things would go.
JK: Dude, we just go here and this isn’t Mexico. Though last week sure did feel like it.
KJ: Yeah, well, that guy didn’t seem he wanted to partner with us. (slams lockeroom door) he deserved it.
JK: Yeah, fucker. This whole situation made us look like attack dogs. And honestly, I don’t even care anymore. But you know what? We needed that win. And we took it. You want to know why? Because once upon a time in a far off land I was trained that you did was neither right nor wrong, but what was necessary you know? So forget him. Next match, next ordeal.
I feel that we’ve been looked over in this fed, maybe it’s because we came here looking for different, and became something different. Maybe we need to be those guys that ran around in Mexico causing chaos. Maybe we got wrapped up in the commercial aspect of this industry, that we have forgotten who the hell we are.
KJ: No, I don’t think that for a minute. I think that in time we will find our spot here in Mile High. Sports Entertainment Xpress was a simple setback. They got lucky, and we didn’t take them serious enough. That day has come and gone because I didn’t come all the way from flipping Mexico to lose! I came here with the promises that we would hold the Tag Team Titles sooner than later. That’s what we’ll do too.
VOICE: CLAP…..CLAP….CLAP…. I see you guys finally get it. I see you guys finally, finally understand what it takes to make it here in Mile High.
(The camera tries to pan over but someone is stopping it from moving their way.)
VOICE: When you first arrived and started work I was like WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT !!! WHAT IS THIS?? I mean, you are THE FOUNDATION! You are the FOUNDATION OF WRESTLING! I get it! You may have lost a few guys over the years and it’s down to you two but DAMN. Is this what it comes to? I remember watching you guys down South and thinking you were something close to MS-13 but these past couple of weeks were suspect…until last week when you beat the breaks off that Finn guy. That was something special. Never forget who you are. And who are you? You are attack dogs, dogs that have no owners. You’re untamed. And this fed needs that. These tag teams are pretty much veteran ran. These guys have been in and out of here for a while, so they’re used to each other, but not to you.
Consider Scythe. Here’s someone that’s been around for awhile and now you’ve got a chance to beat him. This would be a big win for you two. Now, if I were you I would focus my attention on this pay per view in particular because this could set things in place for you….if you want it.
JK: Oh trust me, we want it.
VOICE: Good. Beat him senseless….along with that other person.
(The camera cuts abruptly)
(The camera fades back into a Subtitle: Scythe vs. Tyke Index…about a week or so ago….)
JK’s VOICEOVER: What is posterizing? It’s usually referring to a Basketball term meaning to embarrass someone usually while slamming the ball over them. It refers to the guy who’s being dunked on in basketball posters.
(The footage continues….The two exchanged rights until Scythe hooked Tyke into position for a top rope suplex. Tyke started punching Scythe in the side until he let go. Tyke threw a hard uppercut, knocking Scythe down to the mat.)
JK’s VOICEOVER: Posterizing means that something was done to you so embarrassing, but so well that we need to document it - Your ass needs to be on a poster somewhere. But for you Scythe, you’re not the one making the moment, you’re the one taking that moment…aren’t you???
(The footage continues…Scythe was still trying to get back up, crawling on the mat.Tyke Index came down from the top rope with a powerful version of Coke Mountain!!!!!Tyke went for the pin, as the fans were chanting "Holy Shit!")
JK’s VOICEOVER: I wonder what you thought when that happened. I wonder what was going through your mind when you realized that at that moment, you were going to be on a poster somewhere. People are going to look at this and be like, REALLY? THIS GUY? Yeah. You. You WERE the guy that was at a Tyke Index level but now you’re back down here with us…the FOUNDATION OF WRESTLING. Down here we hold this all together in the tag team division. Down here you and B.Y. are nothing more than washed up main eventers that got placed together for the giggles of it all. You guys aren’t a tag team, you’re what’s left. You’re the guys that people will say, “Oh, that’s where they ended up at….” I mean, me and Kaito, we belong here. We’re a ACTUAL TAG TEAM. You guys? You’re a circumstance! You should probably change your name to:
“STATUS CHANGED: It’s complicated”
KJ’s Voiceover: SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…..LISTEN TO IT….
(The footage continues…the crowd yells as we see Tyke Index pinning Scythe….ONE.TWO…THREE!!!)
KJ’s Voiceover: I’m sure those thumps against the mat knowing you were getting pinned happened in such a way you could hear your heart beat alongside the pin. You are one loss away from being a demotivational poster. You’d be something like this…
(The screen cuts to the following: )
KJ’s Voiceover: (whispers) I’m sure you could hear your heartbeating…your breathing getting heavier..
At Rise Again, the Foundation of Wrestling will posterize you. Your failure will be immortal. EVERYONE will see it. And we’ll continue the work Tyke Index started and completely send you to the nothingness….
(The voiceover ends and the clip fades out on Scythe’s hand, motionless in the ring…)
(The picture fades back in with Kaito removing his hand from the camera….)
JK: This Sunday Scythe and Young should be very concerned. This is a match where we have nothing on the line, and nothing to lose. And after we put you out of your misery, we’re going to move forward and claim our rightful spot in the tag team conversation around here.
KJ: (Whispers…) And in the darkness of these walls, we’ll watch, and wait for the right time to strike the top.
JK: BE. READY.
(Fade out)
