We can confirm that Mile High Wrestling will begin going on tour outside of Colorado following the huge Mile High Spectacular event. The company has only held events outside of Denver on three other different occasions.
Robert Mack had this to say about the decision, "I'm aware that the company is called 'Mile High wrestling', named after the Mile High City of Denver. But the name will now help us never forget where we came from. The fact is, Mile High Wrestling is a growing wrestling promotion and to continue growing, we kind of need to venture out into the world."
Discussions about merchandise sells and ticket sales were a huge part of discussion, as Denver obviously only has so much money to give. The general idea is that touring outside of Colorado will boost merchandise sells and obviously even boost profit from ticket sales.
Robert Mack said, "Merchandise is on display at the shows to the same Denver audience every week. We're really not making money. More purchases are made online yeah, however there would obviously be a huge increase in those merchandise sells if Mile High Wrestling moved from Denver and we grew our fan base. Yeah, we have fans outside of Colorado, but most wrestling fans look at us for what we are; a Denver based wrestling company. We need to show them we are bigger than that for them to believe we are bigger than that."
Robert Mack added, "We love our Denver fans. They are very passionate for us. But we can't expect them to afford tickets every other week forever. The most money ever made from ticket sells from any event was when we traveled to Arizona for The Rise In Phoenix."
Robert Mack also confirmed that Mile High Wrestling Episode XX3 and the fifth episode of Mile High AMMO will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Questions about house shows were discussed, but nothing was confirmed.
